i agree that the rear fenders will probably be schredded once the tires let go , might be a good idea to hide some trailerfenders on the inside bihind the plastic , maibe a dual axle type fender cut in half , and use one half for each side ) weld them to the sheetmetal behind the bodywork , either that or bending up some 4mm sheet steel intoo a halfpipe to put back there anything that pvents the bodywork from being hit directly , you going to need some protection inside behind the driversseat anyway the rear bodypanels arent that big maibe you can have them made in fiberglass and keep the moulds so you can build more as youre probably going to go through about 3 sets per event might even be possible to build simplyfied versions out of sheet steel (bend to shape body panel with fenderflare weded on ) one think you might want to look intoo s if the toyota front brankes and hubs can be made to fit the smart suspension , then you can mount toyota wheels all around

That dampener is a friction fit...the bolt needs to be torqued tight enough to not let the key way have to be pushed against...just like a bridge...the plates that connect the beams are full of bolts but they are all in tension making the plates hold the pieces together in friction...if you loosend all of the bolts the bridge would fail because the bolts would be all in shear and not tension...make sure you torque things like that to spec or they will fail every time...awesome vid guys...keep up the great work...🙂
