I use a single focus lens (sorry I forgot the name) and I don’t use a LUT I just manually edit the colors on the clip!:)

I use a canon m50 and I agree, videos can be easier when it comes to conveying a certain emotion because you can use movements and sounds to enhance a certain vibe. wishing you the best of luck!:)
