This video may seem familiar to some of you, and that's because it is a slightly touched-up reupload of a video from my previous channel. For the rest of the year, I will be reuploading touched-up previous videos in between new videos. A lot of people haven't seen these videos before and this is just to help me upload more consistently while I'm in uni. Plus all of these were made this year so like, it's pretty similar in style to what I make already. This video is honestly one of my favorites, this game means a lot to me and I loved being able to share my love and experiences with it with all of you watching. If I wasn't so busy I'd honestly play through it again ASAP.

Katawa Shoujo is one of the reasons I will defend 4chan when people disregard it as a site full of hateful rascists and mysoginists. While, yeah that absolutely exists on the site, quite a lot of it is just people seeking communities to connect with. Hell, a lot of the hateful stuff is mostly just trolling, ranting, and/or blowing off steam. I unfortunately never got a chance to play Katawa Shoujo. I’ve watched playthroughs and I can’t remember ever crying because of playthrough of a visual novel like I did with Katawa Shoujo. I felt like I walked away as a slightly better person because of it. Truly a work of art and soulful storytelling. The sex scenes are pretty good too. 10/10 would nut again.

Katawa shoujo is the best game ever made, and I truly believe that. The writing is so good it makes me genuinely wonder how some random people could have come together to write it. Rin especially is one of the best written characters ive ever met, and playing the game changed my life forever. If you haven't experienced it before, I implore you to check it out

Ngl, your intro got me. I stumbled upon the dating Sim maybe 9 years ago when I was a freshman in high school and enjoyed the heck out of it, not even knowing what 4chan was back then. When you were saying how offensive it was I remembered your roommate being real weird about woman but I didn't remember other comments by the MC. You had me doubting myself if I was remembering the game wrong or I didn't realize some fucked references back then.

lol, I'm in the process of transferring over videos from my previous channel onto this one, in between new uploads. A lot of those videos this audience hasn't seen yet and I feel like they still fit on this channel well. Regardless, I got a new Discord video coming 2 weeks from now. The thing is, Katawa Shoujo is actually a pretty well made game coming from something out of this cursed land that is 4chan. And the game actually dwells on something that isn't really talked about in most Visual Novels or games in generals, disability, it exist, everyone can have it, it usually destroys your life, but it shouldn't let you down, because someone, somewhere, believes in you. However some of the dialogues in the game are just... 4chan dialogues you know, you either choose to play as a caring human being feeling empathy or just... Some of the darkest being on the Internet.

Ah, yes. The little 4chan dating sim that could. This game is a master class in 'don't judge a book by its cover'. It was made by a bunch of randos on an offensive image board as a game about screwing disabled girls and yet it's so much more than the sum of its parts. And I have a good feeling it's gonna stick around for a long, long time.
