Now that i remember. Many people from the cartoon community wish there where crossovers of their favorite shows like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Regular show, Star vs the forces of evil,ect. While being blissfully unaware of how crossovers work or the fact that many of this crossovers can end up destroying to chronology of many shows. But if they watched this Angela Anaconda and Digimon crossover, they would regret having these bizarre ideas.

I had no idea this caused a divorce. When my mom took me to see Digimon: The Movie, she thought it was the wrong the movie at first. We walked out, she complained to the manager that we got the wrong movie. He explained we didn't. He also described the movie as an anthology film. We got back just in time when Angela realized she was in the wrong theatre.

As a kid I thought we accidentally went to the wrong theatre because the short playing was taking a while (kid time is slower than adult time) and I was getting worried we were in the wrong movie screening. Not sure why they don’t like, explain what’s happening when the shorts come on. You’re just supposed to know the movie gets an opening act for no reason

Cause it didn't. I was there when the guy commented this. Initially I thought it was a joke and replied with "Someone should tell him that's not how divorces work". The guy and some other people took this to heart and started attacking me, calling me an asshole. I then explained how divorces aren't a product of a single annoying event in your life, even less from a movie. My parents divorced when I was 12-13, I know how this goes. There's a lot more to it. I think it's totally BS to let someone kid themselves into believing their parents didn't have issues before this event. Worse is that you don't even know if this wasn't a joke that OP decided to pretend it was serious

I explain why this art style is chosen. Because it was animated in 2.5D animation. They hired face models at the beginning of the production and used elastic reality and it was never updated in the series run because the software was cancelled. And the Season 1 was poorly animated because they were unfamiliar with cgi and it's software. Season 2 and 3 has improved animation.

Fact: the short that was used was actually reused footage, the original footage came from an episode called “Good seats” but it was changed up to add digimon stuff and replaced the words used to mention the in-episode movie to digi and mon and then it became a digimon promo
