I'd love to see a retrospective on Lansbury's career! She was a big part of my teenage years, giving me a lifelong love of murder mysteries and whodunnits. My grandma always had Murder She Wrote playing on the TV when I was over. I wanted to be a writer just like her, though I knew I'd never be able to pull off the hijinks she managed to get into. It's been lovely to relive the wacky, weird, and oddball episodes of this series with you, btw. It makes me want to watch it all over again every time you put out a new video. I actually wrote a college report on this episode thanks to your series! We had to compare crime dramas to dramatic theater, but a lot of crime dramas deal with scary stuff that triggers my anxiety (ie screaming, gory/gruesome murders, people angrily yelling at each other) which means very bad panic attacks in my case. But I remembered you covered a series that technically fit the requirements and i didn’t have to have a panic attack after all!!! I know you’re probably not gonna see this, but thank you so much for that, pushinguproses! It really helped me avoid some pretty scary feelings that I didn’t want to deal with while also giving me an A on the assignment!

I watched this episode in October for the Halloween season. The joke about the pain in the neck is that her family has a curse from the witch hundreds of years ago. That actually caused me to form my own head canon that the entire series is based around this curse, because every single Fletcher winds up having the worst-case scenario happen to them according to their jobs. Jessica's husband was a pilot so his plane crashed dramatically, and because Jessica is a mystery writer, murders follow her everywhere for her to solve. haha

As an aspiring author, one episode of MSW I always loved was a season 11 one called "Murder of the Month Club." I've watched it way too many times. 😂 The reveal at the end of both the killer's reasons/the entire chain of events AND who the author of the unpublished manuscript Jessica's been reading the entire episode (a minor subplot that always stuck with me) really hit home for me personally.

I know I already suggested this but you have to do a recap on the episode "Town Father". It's a very goofy episode set in Cabot Cove with a lot of familiar characters. It's one of my favorite episodes.

Yeah, I heard the news about Angela Lansbury not too long ago. Whilst I never watched Murder She Wrote, aside from you covering it, I have garnered great respect towards the actress and just how long of a career she had in acting across film, television, and theatre. By all accounts was a wonderful and well accomplished actress.

1:35 Patience Terhune has cast the 3rd level spell, "Fetcher's Foley'd Footfalls" to alert her of the presence of any interlopers, by creating loud sound effects. Roddy McDowell and Brad Dourif are always a treat to see. When I heard about Angela Lansbury passing away, my first thought was, "I'll look forward to seeing a tribute video from PushingUpRose."

You have no idea how happy I was to see you do this episode, I love this episode so much. RIP Angela, her passing was such a shock and so sad. This was a great tribute to her. I remember seeing this with my parents as a kid and the only thing I remembered was the talk about jet lag. Also as a pagan I appreciate the reference to what bloodroot actually is and how it's actually used in magick. Details like that are a great angle in something like this that shows something about "eek evil demonic" witches.

Angela Lansbury passing on Oct 11th is especially tragic because it's five days before her birthday (hers is the same as mine that's the only reason I know lol) I know what it's like when a time of celebration gets turned into grief. I only hope they're able to remember the good times

Hi I am from UK 🇬🇧 and love this. It reminds me on cosy Sunday afternoons on the sofa watching with my sons Now they are both in their 30s and we were all heartbroken over her passing. We watched an episode in her memory. And now I'm hooked again. Bless you Angela Landsbury.

Her death came as such a shock and I hate to sound like I speak for all but I'd love to hear your thoughts on Angela Lansbury because you seem to be passionate about her and she seems like one of your idols. Like it'd be real neat to hear an Angela Lansbury retrospective. 1:38 also dude that stop in the name of love bit reminded me of my childhood. Whenever I would say stop, that's how my Dad would've responded. So whenever I hear someone say "In The Name Of Love" after Stop it reminds me of growing up.
