I actually saw the comic in one of the shoe boxes (like elastic girl for example) and read it, however when I was trying to look for the rest it online it was a dead end. It probably only got one issue and due to the show ending and not having a lot of traction bc nick put it on its sister channel they may have just not finished it. Which sucks since it was a cool idea and I’d like to see what they were going to do with it. Other thoughts, I loved this show when it was out, but no one else knew about it so didn’t have anyone to talk to. But still a great show using shoe ad heroes! Although wish they used some of the villains from some of the ads and comics (only one I know of is elastic-girl and there were these small robots) wish the show had more since I was so hyped for it! Great review I love when people talk about lesser known shows!

I stumbled across this obscure show by accident when I was younger. It was a lot of fun and remains one of the few super hero shows that I actually like.

Nice to hear someone discuss this show. I grew up with it. To think like this show, one of the most famous movies of all time, that being Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, was made to sell something, that being quaker oats' wonka candies that came out during the release of the movie.

Everyone once in a while this show pops into my head again and I always remember how much I fucked with it. I was distinctly aware the series used Sketchers mascots(heck I think that’s what drew me in) but it always felt so distinct in spite of that. It was to the point where I wanted other mascots like the luminators dude or Megaflex to join the heroes cause I wanted to see the show so cool shit with them too. Never was the perfect show but it had lotta heart

I really liked this show, and I feel like it’s underrated. Even though this show was basically a shoe commercial, they made the Zevo 3 actually look like cool superhero. Z-Strap was my favorite character; he reminded me of a kind of ‘cool, edgy Spider-Man.’ I thought he looked so cool. His name is kind of goofy, and I wonder how a superhero would even come up with the name ‘Z-Strap,’ but I LOVE his costume. The design is amazing, and the red and grey go so well together. You could honestly keep the design and swap the colors, and it would still look amazing. His powers were awesome and unique, reminding me of Kevin Levin from Ben 10. What I also love about Z-Strap is that you could give him any powers or multiple powers, and it would still work.

I love this show i am actually recently rewatching i stumbled across it on nicktoons and had no idea they were linked to sketchers, but i learned later on and the reason apparently it never got more than one season is the fcc shut it down and nickelodeon actually tried to fight for it to keep going

Was it good? No it isn't supposed to be. Its an interesting concept and a lot characters are just funny to see but a lot of episodes are just wasted in bad comedy like the cow episode also the joker voices stankfoot it is perfect.

I dunno I still think it handles a lot of its episodes better than it should and even how some other shows handle tropey episodes. Like that cow one to me was still done a lot better than most mind-swap episodes and gave a unique look to Stankville wildlife, incorporated another subplot to make it more interesting, and gave a suprising subversion to Stankfoot's character. Like a lot of other shows with the trope just kinda are boring and don't do to much but this one kept it at least a little exciting.
