Huy Fong Sriracha sauce is one of the most popular condiments in the world but that didn't stop a relatively unknown town from almost ending their success over spicy chilli air.

I like to imagine he dissed the representative of Kraft Foods like an angry sensei. "Tell me, what could I do with money when I already have more than I could possibly use in a thousand lifetimes!? The grass grows, the bird flies, and the man before me is driven by greed! You care not for the quality of the sauce! Go! You are no longer welcome in this dojo!"

That house party story reminds me of the story about guy who put a light bulb in his mouth. The issue is it goes in, doesn’t come out 20 minutes later another guy come into A&E with a lightbulb stuck in his mouth Yeah it was the taxi driver that dropped off the 1st guy
@wajdzikus
@wajdzikus 3 жыл бұрын
Wow, i didn't know that that story is also popular outside of Poland. I heard so many versions of that story that I'm not sure that it's real anymore. The one that i like is with a guy from Uni who bet during a party that he will try to fit a bulb in mouth. As you mentioned it fits in but wouldn't go out so he rushed to the A&E by taxi (you don't want to crush a lightbulb in your mouth). After he came back to the party there was another student with a lightbulb in his mouth (obviously he didn't believed that it was impossible to take out the bulb). So once again a quick run to A&E by taxi and as soon as doctors and nurses saw him everyone started laughing and pointed to a bed where 1st taxi driver was sitting with a lightbulb in his mouth. Also the way how to take out the bulb is different in some stories. Sometimes it's by cutting the sides of your mouth slightly (bit like a Joker smile) or in more realistic way by using muscle relaxer shot. With Uni stories like that we also have guys who jumped out of the window in cardboard box with "mission to the moon" written on the box. Since it wasn't safe idea next cardboard box with students was also send. That time it was a "Rescue mission".

Fun fact, Ghost peppers aren't even in the top five hottest peppers anymore. Current record holder is the Carolina Reaper at 2.2M Scoville units, more than twice the measurement of a Ghost. Friend of mine grows hot peppers (has grown both Ghosts and Reapers) for his personal use. The Reapers are so strong that one, without the seeds or innards (hottest parts), can take a large bottle of salsa from mild to OMFG, at least to my palate. Not a huge fan of burn. Some people liken it to sucking on a bottle of OC spray... which isn't too far from the truth.

In those complainers' defense, "because it smells" is a ridiculous understatement. Pepper spray is called pepper spray because its primary ingredient is capsaicin, the same chemical that makes chilli peppers spicy. Basically, those people were living in a constant fine mist of pepper spray.

Fun fact, I have a similar story but with Reaper chillis lol I work in a produce store that sells them, a packet broke and one of my coworkers decided he didnt believe the giant warning signs about how hot it is. So he ate one. Whole. On video. At first he claimed it wasnt hot at all as he slowly started turning bright red and sweating profusely. 15 seconds later he had his mouth under the tap. Then i told him to drink milk to alleviate the burn, so he sprinted down to the break room and guzzled a bottle of skim milk, which did absolutely nothing. Told him he was supposed to drink the full cream stuff and he put away another full bottle. Funniest day at work ever.

Dunno if it's available over there, but in America we have something called the "tube of terror" and it's far worse than ghost pepper peanuts. We ate them at work and literally shut down an entire production line for about an hour as they were busy crying and sweating. Bonus fact, the line we shut down was compromised mostly of Hispanic people who were making fun of our (white guys) reactions and didn't believe the nuts were actually that spicy. Bonus bonus fact, the reason we didn't get in trouble is because our supervisor ALSO didn't believe the nuts were spicy enough to cripple a line of Hispanic men, and tried one himself. He almost immediately left work, and went home to drink milk. Just straight dipped. To this day I have no idea how none of us were fired.
