It’s crazy. I couldn’t imagine invading someone’s personal space, let alone a guard on duty and unable to give consent. And how careless to go even further by touching. Wow. He’s a person. Don’t even get me started on the poor horses. Anyway, excellent reaction by the guard. Smooth, silent and effective.

People don't realise, that it is a criminal offence to interfere with the Kings Guard

Those poor guards and horses! Why do people think they can just grab them and maul them? Feel sorry for the horses too. Thats why it is so funny when the horses revolt. 😂😆 Arnie!🥰😆

Ive seen that particular guard be very kind to children and neurodivergent ppl, he makes sure they get a good picture. He's a credit to his King and family.

I’m from the US, why doesn’t anyone ask permission before taking pics or petting the horses???

What is wrong with people? In Sweden , neither horses nor guards are touched. But we can watch from a distance. Why don`t they have a fence around the horse and the guard sitting on the horse, so people don`t get too close? I have been to London many times and I always respect what applies there. Maybe some touritsts should buy a book to read about what applies to where they are going.

I travelled all over Europe and always bought a Green Michelin guide for each country, so I could read up on things I should know before I got there.

Well done to the Kings guard. I am just disgusted at the way tourist think they can do just as they like. These poor men have to put up with all sorts and its degrading.

They need to charge the tourists for pictures. Rope the area off and $25 for a picture with the proceeds going to animal protection, the facilities which rescue mistreated and abandoned animals.

It's a military establishment not Disney. The military isnt there to make money they are there to carry out a duty

That was totally incredible. Not only is he a guard standing there alone with people taking photos, and a person who should be respected! - but he’s also a complete stranger. Would you go up to a policeman like that?! And he doesn’t know you AT ALL and you touch him? I wonder how she’d react if a total stranger took her arm?? He reacted both as a guard and like anyone would in that situation. Did she even say she was sorry?! NO, she didn’t! 😠😮 I guess she really pissed me off and I’m not even British, I’m from New York 🪷Be safe and have a good day everybody 🌷🌱☀️

I am an American with the deepest respect for the U.K. and can't believe the disrespect that some people have for these men in uniform . They are the best of the best I'm sure. They aren't dressed up like toys for people to mess with! The restraint these men show is absolutely amazing! They should be honored and respected at all times! Some people have no self respect so I guess that's why they don't respect others.

Why do people want a pic with soldier doing his job? Its not like you are best friends with the soldier. At least she said I'm sorry.

@@boycott2720 And that's the difference between the UK and the USA. We admire real heroes---military servicemen and -women. You would rather queue up to have your photo taken by someone dressed up as a mouse.

Perhaps it is time for our Beautiful Royal Guards to put up another large sign that says "The King's Guards and Horses are NOT to be touched! They are doing their duty. Thank you." Honestly, this is the only way that rude tourists are legally told how to behave! Please Guards, do do this, as it breaks my heart to see the abuse you and your horses you have to put up with every day. Thank you from Canada.
