Without Tony Wilson, my musical taste would be very narrow. Thank you Tony and Factory for giving me priceless memories

First of all, I love your channel's name. Secondly-- thank you so much for posting this! I'd never seen a documentary that focused so much on his TV career. What an incredibly interesting man, both in terms of what he did in the music business and in the TV world as well. Once again, thanks for posting this!

Ha Ha thanks, you're the first one to pick up on the name.I feel like you are entitled to a prize. As for Mr Wilson, if you grew up with him like i did,it's impossible to estimate his genius and influence. Not just in Manchester but these days worldwide.

Canadian guy here. British post-punk is my personal favourite era in popular music. I absolutely adore the whole Factory Records catalogue and Tony Wilson’s approach to changing culture through the power of art, as well as his independent do-it-yourself ethos. He left us far too soon. I hope he knew before he departed that the scene he built in Manchester made so loud a noise that it changed a teenage boy’s world on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Thank you for the joy and inspiration, Saint Anthony! And thank you to the uploader for this delightful gem of a film!

It was a great loss when tony passed away. Im so glad i got to see him in the early/mid 2000s at an hacienda reunion at Manchester academy. He was djing dance tune then dropped the beachboys track, god only knows. What a legend!

Thanks for the upload, that was great. He really was one of a kind. I’m from Liverpool but always loved him.

He certainly did not endear himself to the average scouser, that's for sure. However,he always had the midas touch when it came to seeing the future.Which, in my opinion benefited the entire North West region and beyond.Up there with John Peel,Janice Long and Radcliffe/Riley as our region's innovative influencers.

First memory of Tony was him presenting Granada Reports whilst flicking a green Pentel pen in his fingers.
