Some old tractors were really well made and you can still get repair parts for them. Older tractors don't have computers that you need wait for a repair shop to come out and charge you hundreds to replace a sensor or module. Paint jobs suffer a lot the "utility" tractor, but could be repainted and would look good for a while. Those pretty new tractors , especially the green ones, are a ticking money machine for the dealers.

My pup is the same. She’s a Malinois and I’m pretty sure they come with ‘love of heights’ factory installed. I HATE heights so generally she goes exploring up somewhere while I stay with my 2 feet on the solid ground. She was with both the police force and search and rescue before she came to me so she had training abseiling/rock climbing, flying and being lowered from a helicopter and they even got her ready for a parachute jump. She got washed (didn’t make it) from both programs because she hates water and both search & rescue and the Police tend to work in places that are wet or involve water. She loves standing on top of the agility A frames, climbing ladders, balancing on the back of my couch or on the top of a fence. If she can jump up somewhere and look down on the world, she’ll do it. I didn’t realise how rare her love of heights was in dogs until I got a few foster dogs and realised not one of them had the want to scale anything high in sight and just how unconfident they were just jumping down from the back of the car, since my own dog lives for the chance to do just that.

Is your front hydraulic pump on your 8n plumbed into your tractors three point hydraulics? I think it can be plumbed into the test port on the tractor hydraulics then the loader front pump will supply live hydraulics for the 3pt so it’ll work wether the foot clutch is out or in

Ok so durring the live stream there was a question about the HP on the 8N Tyler you origonally said it may have like 20 HP I replyed it may have 30 to 35 as other tractors in its class or size have about 30 to 35 HP...you said no maybe 25 HP...well we were both wrong but you were close...8N's had 26 HP from the factory but with age and wear and tare its probably somewhere around 20 to 23 HP these days lol.

Love your videos. Is there a reason that at the steer paster, you didn't roll the bales on the ground. This way you could let the area dry. Just saying. Happy holidays to you and your family

There’s not enough cattle out there to finish the bale in one day/one feeding - so putting it in the bale feeder instead of on the ground means that it lasts them multiple days which means less hay wastage & less trips out to feed them. If it was rolled on the ground, lots of hay would get wasted and it wouldn’t last them as long. I can say from experience that cattle are funny that way, if it’s not all eaten on the ground within the day, they tend not to touch it after. Because there’s only a few cattle out there, one bale is more than they need or can eat in one day. Hope that helps!

Spray lube oil on the bolt, let it soak in awhile, then heat it up an try losing it. Monkey bar "pipe wrench" works if you got the room..you can put a piece of pipe on the handle for more leverage.

You need to put sunscreen on your nose and face. Farmers have a lot of skin cancer. My Daddy had part of both of his ears removed because of skin cancers. He started wearing a wide brim hat

Sunscreen is very bad for you, like sunglasses. They fool your body into thinking you are in the shade. Rather wear a wide brim hat and long sleeves, plus, more importantly, include good animal fats in your diet - that seems to have helped my hubby and I.
