This is a very powerful performance. It's Floor's total mastery when she drops the emotional bomb at the end.

Untill this show, 95% of the Dutch never heard of her (because she was far away from mainstream music). After the first song she did in this show, Holland became crazy for her. Nightwish had to put in an extra concert which sold out like hot bunnies.

@@nicholaslindsey7087I think that Evanesence is closer to mainstream than the bands Floor was in, especially After Forever and Revamp. Those bands had a very small fanbase in Holland and were unheard on the radio stations.

She actually sang for everyone. Every episode one of the artists is the guest of honor and all the others sing to them. All of Floor's songs were gold (also each very different, to show her versatility). The first episode she sang Vilja Lied (in German) for Henk Poort, she sang in Spanish for Rolf Sanchez (even though she doesn't speak Spanish). So I highly recommend watching more. As for the other singers, I suggest you watch the songs they sang when Floor was the guest of honor, because they all brought their A game that episode. Also really appreciate you're watching the extended video's with the context around the songs. That really adds to it.

Tim Akkerman has a nice craspy voice in his original song. That's why Floor also did that crasp there. I don't actually like the genre and because I didn't know the original song, I listened that before I watched this video. I think when you react a cover song that nobody knows, might be a plus if you also listen the original song in your reaction video before the Floorgasm version. But yeah, thumbs up again! Great man! More Nightwish! :)

Yes, you should do the song she sang for Ruben. Very emotional too. FYI, Floor considers herself to be a tech nerd when it comes to her voice. She knows, and is able to execute, all the styles and techniques that exist, and she also knows how to use what and when for which effect. Add to that the fact that she sings with emotion all the time, from deep in herself, and that explains why she manages to strike a chord every time again, and manages to touch everybody with every song. She is a masterful singer and performer who does both singing and performing from the heart. I just love it. Kind regards, Wim
