Jury is there to make the final decision when the televote is very close. Televote itself is never wrong, it is what people want. The result was very clear.

The juries are all foreign, they are not Finnish juries. The juries make 25% of the votes, televotes 75 %. As a Finn I do think it is fair that Finns themselves get to choose the singer, not foreigners. And 2020 Finns voted a ballad instead of a "joke song" which was a favourite.

The rules are perfect. The jury can sway a close televote, but they wont sway a landslide televote. There were many people who were going to vote for Sara, but changed their mind after Sara's sadly underwhelming live performance. Her vocals were just not up to par live and even the show tried to look too much like Loreen's last year. In the end fans will revolt if Yle tries to increase the sway of the juries. Nobody likes them and that is especially true in Finland. UMK does create the buzz it does in Finland because people get to choose over juries. Someone will always be disappointed, but that is how democracy works.

I voted for this one, and was heartbroken after the results. Well, this song can still go to ESC, if Windows95man withdraws. But let’s see.

Sara's singing wasn't very good, but her stage appearance and charismatic take on the song would have been a better choice for Finland this year.

Yeah I understand, it would have been a fresh face to Finland. Kind of going to something more "serious" but... The vocals in the live were not the very best, which is why I preferred an entry that sounded better in terms of vocals. Not that she didn't sing great, it's a great song.
