Exactly! People who have lived with animals are knowing a 2 to 3,000 pound animal can outrun ANY human. Bulls like that can take out any senior faster than they can turn around. Off and into the air instantly. Need reminder that are along the line of "we can make it to the fence in 2.3 seconds, can you?"

@@CrankbaitCrisis Hello. I wasn't attacking you. I was addressing the entire herd of humans and anyone who views this video. People were way too close repeatedly, instead of backing off and letting the animal leave the area unhindered. Between the people milling around, dogs barking, and all of the vehicles blocking possible exits, the situation could have confused and stressed the bison and easily have brought on far greater violence than the short warning charge that we see. I count that as a lucky escape for the animal and the people. One thing to keep in mind when you visit is that national parks have been sued many times over the years when people have been injured or killed, and those lawsuits have routinely been dismissed by the federal courts, on the grounds that there is an implied assumption of risk when one enters a reserve that is kept wild by design and law, so that visitors who voluntarily expose themselves to objective dangers are responsible for their own safety, injury, or death. Far too many tourists entertain the false notion that the animals are tame, and the thermal areas, canyon, rivers and Yellowstone Lake are safe, as though the park is controlled and regulated. It is not. People continually die in all of those situations. I raised my sons to appreciate the beauty and majesty of nature, while understanding that nature can kill you in an instant of inattention, lack of situational awareness, lack of respect. When they were quite young we rented a cabin in Yellowstone for about a week, and every night before bed I would read to them from Lee Whittlesey's book, "Death in Yellowstone." I highly recommend it to anyone contemplating a visit to this amazing national treasure.

same thing happened to me. went to yellowstone in june 2019. our tour bus did a hour long pit stop for lunch, restrooms, gift shop, etc. Me and my grandma (we went to together) opted to just have milkshakes to fill us up so wouldnt be full for dinner. We just stood by the bus enjoying when I saw what I thought was a statue due to where it was. I thought no way a Bison would be that close (or at least with our luck). Then it started moving. we were pretty far (but still close enough to enjoy it) as we were told...when trip began. dont get close. a lot of people kept their distance as well in parking lot. then a guy got out of his car with his dog. I dont know if it spooked the bison or it got angry as it then started getting really close to the point we all got behind any care we could (was maybe 20 feet away prior then became like 6 feet with a car between us) it moved pretty fast so much a guy got out of trailer and quickly back in when he realized what was in his path. It headed to other side of parking to where forest was. park rangers and an ambulance were called to be safe. we asked everyone in our group...no one else saw it. lets say everyone was jealous

How is this a “Bison attack”?! And where are this kid’s parents?! People got too close to these bison and lucky they didn’t get triggered. Seen a lot of ‘actual’ attacks. This wasn’t even close to one.

This might be the most depressing video I have ever seen. A majestic animal walking through throngs of tourists and cars. It just makes me sad. Kudos to the kid for making the comment that it WAS too close, and to respect animals and their space. No one really at fault here, I mean, it's a parking lot and I didn't see any idiot trying to touch him or get closer, so that's refreshing.

Bison can run 30 mph. Any parent who was standing out there with their kid should have their kids taken away. Either they hate their children, or they are too dumb to be able to care for their children.
