Pro Tip: Put a fitting on there that allows you to use shop air to fill the truck's tank. There is no 12v pump that is going to last for all that many pumps. A shop compressor can fill that in 30 seconds no sweat.

I had a 63 Chevy long bed and it only had a 283 in it with a powerglide we welded the rear gears didn't like the pill out too good so we took a windshield washer fluid pump and routed it back and put one on top each tire so I could push the button and then roll slowly and get it and spray water on the tires and it would roll smoke like it had 1000 hp.

I have been watching MORR , RAD , Fab Rats and ChadsFab since they started . And of all the videos combined this was my favorite one . 2 Brothers building Kaulins vision of a bad ass truck and hammering on it to get it to a burnout contest/car show . Unreal content . I already thought this was the coolest build on the channel . But the emotion of winning the burnout contest and the Rat rod trophy . I am going to have to watch this episode again .

Be very very careful we are hunting wabbits. The driveshaft thin aluminum and cardboard for balance. I have seen hundreds of stock drivesshafts just krinkle. Good luck Colin. Good luck Rudy.

Awesome truck! I would recommend placing battery somewhere else or making a remote jump start lugs. Battery goes dead there will be no way to get to battery.

On the steering , 8:55 I would use a muffler clamp. Sometimes those hose clamps do not like extra tight.

I Loved every second of that. So Glad the 2 bro's got First place. Mat would be very proud of his 2 boys. Just one small thing. When you welded up the spider gears. I think you had the welder earth clamped on the bearing caps that hold the diff head in. Could not quite see if you did. Should clamp it straight on the spider gear carrier. It can make it Ark in any of the bearings. The bearings get pitted and distroy them selves after a while. To be safe I if welding around tight places like drive shafts, in a diff, on the exhaust etc. I always use some battery jumper Leads as well. Like welding spider gears put earth clamp on spider gear housing, and jump leads on on it as well to outside housing. That way if you accidentally hit the trigger in a tight area and short it out the current won't short out a bearing.

Another place is welding exhaust on, clamp welder earth to exhaust, and jumper cable from exhaust to car body. If you weld an exhaust mount to the car body it will stop the current trying to go through a throttle cable or bearing etc to complete the contact. If you forget to move the welder clamp to car exhaust mount welding to car body. Even if you use both jump lead cables black and the red, as earth's to body and car chassie. Just a few tips you learn over a few years. This is mostly when you not fitted an earth cable from the motor to car body yet.
