It's hard and exhausting, sometimes the vestbular system is overloaded despite not being in a very triggering environment or without a warning. It takes time but I hope your brain figures it out soon, these flares are much worse than they look. Be safe Kelly and have a great week!

❤Thank you so much for the prayers. I’m going on Tuesday to see my sister, she’s two hours away and my neighbor is in a home now and she seems content. I’m still taking care of her little dog. God Bless! Continued prayers 🩷🤗🙏

I am so thankful for channel. I was diagnosed with meniere's disease and it like to show up at the worst times. I am 31 years old with three children and the sole provider. It is harder than people understand. At one point manager asked me if I had it under control. You know as well as I do the answer to that is no. It feels good to know I am not alone!

SO much respect for being mama to 3 kids *and* being the sole provider. Having Meniere’s on top of that must be so very hard. It’s so hard to explain to others. Im sending you a hug and rooting for you. You are not alone. I’m so glad you are here.

Kelly I think this is one incredible video of what happened and whilst watching l was flooded with empathy. Living with vestibular migraines and late diagnosis autism has its own set of issues and as l sit here and watch your story l feel great encouragement. Some days it feels like everything is just too difficult but watching your story is inspiring. I think of those words about renewing our strength and soaring on the wings of eagles and l can see it here in your story. Thank you for sharing everything and just know that you are helping each one of us in so many ways. We definitely are not alone.🙏🖐

Thank you Steven! I deeply appreciate your empathy and words. I’m so glad that my journey is encouraging to you. What you have shared of yours is to me as well- I mean it. I can understand why it feels like everything is too difficult at times. It can be overwhelming. In those moments I try to slow things down and try to focus on the moment bc otherwise I’d get overwhelmed. But I also know that it wont’ always be as tough as it is in that moment. You are such a warrior for getting through the vestibular migraines and the autism. I bet learning about the autism recently is a lot of information to process. You should be so proud of yourself for every step. I appreciate what you shared about renewing our strength and soaring on the wings of eagles. So much truth. Never alone!

Kelly have you tried any dietary experimentation? I have lived with Meniere's since 1998 and developed several more autoimmune and inflammation over 26 years. I had a labyrinthectomy in 2014. Almost 2 years ago, i went against medical advice and started eating a plant free ketogenic diet. Incredibly and to my utter astonishment - it worked!! I was desperate and willing to try anything

Thank you so much for how you asked that but also for sharing your experience. I'm thrilled to hear that a plant free keto diet has been helpful for you. That would be such a challenge to adjust to, but anything for our health for sure! Why was it AMA? Food is definitely medicine to the body and its important to find what works for us. I changed to eating gluten free and worked with a nutritionist and ate a LEAP diet starting in 2010. I went paleo in 2017 and it changed so much for me. I used to have horrid brain fog and it completely went away when I ate Paleo. I still eat Paleo. :)

Maybe while your practicing you can go to a sensory friendly movie screening. They usually offer them for folks with autism. But of course other people can benefit from sensory accommodations.

What did you say to the manager to make this happen. Is it ever weird for you to have to explain to people 4:21

I just said that I had brain surgery and wanted to see if I could tolerate a movie theater. I probably said something about vertigo too. I didn’t go into too many details. I think its more complicated to explain to people if I go into details about how my brain has to re-learn things vestibularly and why new experiences make it hard on my brain. She didn’t need to know all that. Now, I’m not sure what my mom told her while I was walking around lol
