Prednisone is terrible. I sometimes had to take it in the past for severe eczema flare ups. And it would make me feel sick. Later on my dermatologist gave me a sister drug and the reaction to that whas less. You are stong. You are a supergirl. You got through it. Big hugs ❤ Marloes

Its so terrible. I hate that it made you feel so sick. That is great they were able to give you a different medication after that that wasn’t as bad. Thank you my friend, you know I think the world of you too. You are a warrior.

Loving the interpretive dance to express how you feel. Sorry you have to go through all those shots, especially knowing how you will feel afterwards. How long do you have to take the shots? Continued prayers 🙏🤗💗

Aw thank you Helen - I never ever thought I’d share the videos of me dancing with anyone, much less on KZbin. So your comment really boosts my confidence. I will have to take the shots for a long time. Weekly for a few years anyway. Depends on how my immune system does. Some people can stop the shots and some peopel have to keep taking them - it depends on teh person. Thankfully now, I am not as reactive as I was in the video because we aren’t moving up as fast in the allergen dosing. After I had the strong reactions that I did in this video, they slowed me way down adn didn’t push so hard/fast. So it is much more tolerable. You are in my prayers too. :)

Yes! It is the devil! Thank you! Once the prednisone was out of my system, I was *so* much better. Its so hard when a medication messes with my thoughts.

Just curious…. How do they accommodate you with a dog in an allergy office? Seems like dog dander etc is a high allergy trigger for many allergy sufferers?
@IncredibleAnyway2 ай бұрын
Sure! So when I walk into the office, I tell the receptionist I have a service dog if they haven’t already seen him. And they take me immediately back to a room so I am separated from teh other patients. Until then I try to put as much space between me and the other patients.

Hello I have a very long story with my experience with my Menieres/vestibular issues. I have seen so many different doctors that has told me so many different things that I just don’t know who to trust anymore. All I want to do is to get better and go back to work because our financial situation sucks. Any advice?
@IncredibleAnywayАй бұрын
I'm sorry that your experiences with the doctors have been so confusing. Have the doctors given you a diagnosis? IMO, the first step to getting better is to find out what is wrong. Have you seen a specialist? A neurotologist which is an ENT who specializes in the ear. They are the ones I would trust the most. Of course there are always bad doctors out there, but they are the most knowledgable about Meniere's. If you want to share more with me, please do adn I"ll help as much as I can.

How are you managing your B12 or pernicious anemia (PA) with an MTHFR issue? Are you still doing cyano shots with oral methyl b12? Asking because I have PA and first symptom was vertigo. I live in the US and can only get cyano covered although I also have MTHFR (677TT) and need every other day injections to "touch" my deficiency. Methylcobalamin shots are not covered by insurance. Any insights?
@IncredibleAnyway2 ай бұрын
I don’t need the shots as frequently as you do. I am taking cyanocobalamin injections with oral methylcobalamin. I pay for the oral methylcobalamin out of pocket - my insurance does not cover it. I wish I had some insight about insurance - as you know insurance is frustrating. Have you appealed their refusal to cover the methylcobalamin shots? I wonder if your doctor was able to prove with your bloodwork that you need it along with explanation of why you’d also need the methyl shots in addition to cyano? I’m guessing you’ve already tried that, but its all I know to suggest.

Is there a different med that does the same thing that you can take without so many side effects. Also does it interact with any of your other meds , is that the problem 6:39
@IncredibleAnyway2 ай бұрын
I don’t know that there was another med I could take like this, but good thought. I doing respond well to decadron (another steroid) by mouth either. No - its not my meds - its the medication itself.
