A few days ago, Monitors Unboxed reviewed a 32:9 aspect ratio monitor, which is certainly something. (MSI MPG 491CQP) And here's the audiovisual glory that such a monster was apparently made for! Well, for the visual part - better use some proper speakers. I for one extended this to all speakers of my surround system, which is imho the appropriate depth and immersive stage for, well, such a wide and long one! It's been a lovely experience, thank you for all your work over all the years for... yeah, us. For everyone. (Makes me feel appropriately melancholic that music that's properly produced in surround remains such a very very niche thing - excluding movies, maybe? The changelog in Winamp 5.1 many moons ago was *sure* that it was the future, haha.)
