Hey man. I love your song reactions. I'm 24 and I've struggled with a xanax and meth addiction because it's how my parents dealt with their problems. I've missed 7 of the last 12 years with my mom and the last 6 years with my sister because they ended up in prison for it. Now we all have united again through God. I still struggle with the thoughts of going back but I watch your reaction to Church by Tom a couple times a week to keep me on track. My Favorite Tom Video/Song. EVERY one deals with their inner demons...."You're not good enough, you're not smart enough, you're not strong enough, you're not handsome/pretty enough, you don't deserve this". Tom just made his demons very public. Think "Stars" don't have demons? Why do you think they drink and drug? Think sports stars don't have demons? Why is there a whole industry around Sports Psychologists? Demons not only don't go away when you reach the top, they get WORSE. Great Reaction. Nova KILLED it in the Video as well.

That is how God delivered me from my demons, making me a 'child of the most high God'. Whenever I doubt myself I think on that and thank my Father. I even have dreams of my demons choking me and finally figured out to call out to God in my sleep to fight them. I've been told that I scream it out loud in my sleep when it is happening. You need to check out "I Wish" brother that song is DEEP! It gets me every time at the very beginning. Dude says "I wish I wish I wish with every candle on the cake I could quit doing these drugs but I can't and I'm afraid." 😥 Man that rocks me to the core, cause I been there before! I was delivered from my addiction, but there's still a struggle that'll probably be there forever. I haven't given in and all glory there goes to God, but seeing other people still doing it and knowing they'll share with me is hard to deal with sometimes! Normally try my hardest to avoid it, but there are some people that I love deeply who are still ensnared by it that I can't not be around. Tom is the deepest rapper I have ever heard point blank period! His music helps me deal with day to day life so much.

Glad I found your video. 2 things... 1st I look at life like a backpack.You choose what you carry with you and that pk.The heavy stuff is gonna let you down and you won't get us far in life. The good and the positive are light.It'll help lift you up and allow you to go further you even thought possible So I choose to deal with the bad and leave it behind. Then only take with me the good. I'm Finally at peace. 2nd I have A chronic Terminal illness. At 1 point after I had a have my 2nd ileolostomy (like a Colostomy) I was worried about how my son would grow up.He was about 4 or 5 at the time. I just had my 3rd major surgery In 6 weeks And found out I was going to have to have more. At the time I didn't realize how many more.over 40 Surgeries now. I lost my job. House was going to be foreclosed on. We had no money & my husband just got in a car wreck, car was totaled. Insurance didn't pay off loan. So we had no car cause we couldn't get a new 1 until Ian was paid off. All of this happen in the same week. So while it was so good of the tub and thinking about my son and my health I wondered if he would be better off if I wasn't alive Just them the broom got so bright I thought the light bulbs would burst I had to close my eyes. I heard a voice inside my head telling me whatever I decided I would be ok and so would my son. God made a promise to me that day that I would get help if I c choose to live. I just had to ask. It sounds crazy & just a coincidence. But when you get 50 Consecutive times it's no longer a coincidence. Plus, they were all Abnormal blessings. Not just some everyday occurrence. I've already written a novel so I won't explain further. I just wanted to leave it here so people know that God does answer prayers. And you NEVER walk alone.

I am a former heroin addict...I went through hell, I hated myself, I wished every night that I wouldn’t wake up the next morning. I’ve lost more friends than I care to count to overdoses. I’ve been clean since February 2017, yet I still fight that demon locked away in the back of my head. My 6 year old is what keeps my eyes focused in the right direction. God knew what he was doing when he took one of my friends who had a kid the same age. It shook me to my core imagining my son growing up never knowing me. Then the mother of my child stepped up and told on me to force me to get help. I owe my life to her even though we aren’t together, I wouldn’t be here today otherwise. If you’re fighting addiction take that hard step and ask for help. Even if you don’t feel like it, your life is important, your life was given by God. Do not let demons rip it away from you. They may be strong, but God made you stronger, you just have to believe in yourself.

I so often get into MONTHS of depression because I start thinking all I am is my disability or all I am is my addiction, and truth be told that is why I so often go back to James 5:16 where it says if you have sinned or are ill if you admit it aloud and to God, praying for forgiveness you shall be healed. There is nothing we can't be forgiven of if we ask God for his grace and forgiveness, and all that sin and worry just gets swept away like ash. It really helps a sick girl sleep at night when it feels like all she will ever be is her illness and her addiction.

I have been a musician since the late 60's. I hate this music more that you could ever know. I hate the pride and demonic imagery. BUT, your sermon Jeff truly helped me and I have never seen you before until right now. How you see and heard holiness and goodness in this song I will never know and I'm a DRUMMER! This man is saying he is the best and the greatest and God says then you will be last of all. If I do not listen to this song and just listen to you, I am greatly encouraged and built up inside. Tom's inner demon is just plain vicious. I disagree that it is our own voice. For some of us that voice is the voice of an overly critical earthly parent. I only wish Tom would realize God never speaks through saintly people. He always chooses those who show His love is not guaranteed. I hope he sees just how he empowers others. Jeff your better, the other reviewers are talking way to much and you kept it to a minimum and knew it was not just you they were here to see react but the artist.
