It wasn’t something he was old enough to articulate- a child at that age simply does not have the words yet. He tried his very, very, best - and he got his point across. It appears his father was unmoved, not surprisingly. It takes a cold hearted man to kill the mother of his children. By killing her, he is also hurting those children so deeply. And making them completely orphaned once he’s imprisoned. Obviously, he did not care. I hope all her children are doing well with her sister, their Auntie.

I've thought the same thing how some creator's speak on the mindset, words & actions of victims as if we know firsthand what was said or felt. Ex; "Sara was terrified as she looked her attacker in the eye before looking for a place to hide & beg for mercy. She knew this was the end, he's finally going to do it & she told him to think of the kids" ect. None of us know what really happened but, I get it's to paint a picture & sometimes through the victim's eyes, so to speak. Still I've thought the same as you said extra "fluff".

He runs an organization, has presented before Congress with his US Representative, and is an all-around stand-up guy. I'm incredibly happy I actually Googled the guy. If you see this, God bless you, Cedric. Keep the straight path.

The fact the he got Life PLUS a few for drugs, while this D-bag got 20 years for premeditated murder of his children's mother should be the biggest eye opener in all of this! Itxs a perfect wxample of how absolutely ass backwards our system is, and how succussfully the government has burned a certain perception of drugs, their users & sellers, & those who are addicted/dependant on them. It's maddening & gross that we, as a society, let the government pull this crap & ruin people's whole lives because of friggin drugs. This is what creates the havoc we see today, even more than the drugs themselves!!! We need real reform like yesterday!

This is the second time I've heard this case and Maddox's message to his father about killing his mom is so devastating. It's so satisfying that Clay got himself more time because 20 years was not nearly enough. I hope Jacque's kids and family are doing okay
