Alright everyone here's my theory: Delilah was Ned's wife and Brian's mother. Delilah and Ned planned a family hiking trip, but during their trip an accident occurred and Brian lost his life. I'm assuming it was Ned's fault as Delilah felt a deep hatred towards him. Delilah didn't want either of them going to prison for the murder of their son, so Ned stayed in the park, and Delilah comes back every summer to avoid any police investigation and to grieve the lose of her son. Her form of grieving is alcohol. Because she's an annual Firewatcher she has run into Ned and has given him supplies, maybe even a walkie talkie and that's who she was talking to at the beginning of the game when she left her walkie on with Henry saying "Does he know?" Maybe she was asking Ned if Henry had any idea of the death of their son. Her and Ned have got to talking and that's how he knows about Javer. And in the end she didn't want to meet Henry because if he was questioned about Brian's death she didn't want him recognizing her face. After watching the series for a second time, reading other commenters theories, this is the best that I can come up with. For such a well thought out game I don't think the creators of the game would have such an anti-climactic, simple ending. What do you think?

She was talking to Ned. She was covering for Ned the whole time who flipped out on his sons death. She didnt know his kid died though, she just thought Ned has his own things and wants to stay alone up in the woods for some reason. She didnt think that the guy was basically stalking her and later Henry through the walkie-talkie.

Great game but I still have so many questions! - What were they researching at the wapiti station? - Why get all these details about Henry and Delilah? - WHO got all these details?? - Who broke into the girl's camp? was it Ned? if so, Why?? - Why did the girls cut the telephone line? or was it Ned? I NEED TO KNOW - The girls were in jail for a whole week and nobody asked for their names? they just kept underaged girls for a week without knowing who they are? mmmmmm.... really?! - Who was Delilah talking to in the first episode??
