This reminds me of one time (a long time ago when I was still in grade school) I found a Warrior Cats themed Minecraft server (it was during my warrior cats phase... I was young). I joined it and there was only like 2 players on at the time (should have been a warning sign) they _literally banned me for mining blocks and making iron armor..._ Turns out the server was _exclusively_ for role play, despite it being in survival with no plugins to prevent mining blocks.

If you didn't figure it out, the "smack a llama" thing was about vote parties. When the server receives their vote goal a llama (or 'Pinata') spawns and you get items by hitting it.
