The stasis chamber works by a glitch where changing dimensions allows you to have a fishing rod that isn't limited by distance. This only works if you retract the hook in the same dimension as it was cast, so you needed to be in the overworld to be teleported back. TLDR: You owe your stasis chamber an apology. :(

For anyone curious on why the stasis chamber did not work it is because of a feature in Minecraft which states that you cannot use ender pearls to travel through dimensions so in theory it was a good idea however was blocked by this factor

The status chamber didn't work because you were in the nether and the pearl was in the over world. You need to be in the same dimension for it to work I believe.

The reason the self working station didnt work is maybe it uses the nether as a "setting up" or "hiding the rod" mechanism that makes it so it disables it when u go to the nether so when your back on the overworld, it will work again and this time is hidden

The fishing rod only works if you have the chunk loaded. You just needed a chunk loader :( Always remember, you can almost _never_ do things in unloaded chunks.

The chunk was loaded because of the nether Portal. It was a lazy chunk and it doesn't work through different dimensions. Actually if the chunk is fully loaded it doesn't work

1.wireless fishing rods dont work in the nether if you created it in the overworld. 2.generally stasis chambers cant teleport you through dimension so even if you had a friend activate it you wouldnt teleport.

I watched the tutorial for the self activating stasis chamber and turns out, you need to go into the nether and then come back to the overworld bcoz the fishing rods string should disappear and once you you leave the nether the string connected to the pressure plate won't be visible. So basically this only works in the over world bcoz the chamber is innthe overworld and the fishing rod's string can't go through the portal and then to the pressure plate. So if you wanted it to work in the nether, you would have to make one in the nether. However that is not possible as any water evaporates immediately in the nether
