"all women team" doesn't matter, it's just called that for marketing purposes and either way it's much better to have a team of both women and men when doing shoes for women and men.

If you want good running shoes I strongly recommend brooks! They are THE brand when it comes to running shoes. I personally use the glycerin model by brooks and it is about 180$ but the reason it’s so expensive is because it’s the most cushiony shoe brooks makes. I think you should always go for brooks shoes when thinking about a running shoe. I’ve never ran in anything else but brooks

I was very confused when these dropped. Everyone was touting the women's build, but I couldn't tell if there were women's models and male models. Are the entire 22 line all narrower now? Especially if it's the entire model year, I'm going to want an entire toe cap now.
@thatfitfriend2 жыл бұрын
I believe so! The men’s model has some carryover from the last changes that were implemented for the women’s. Toe box, boot, and instep!

This is interesting I have the ultraboost 20 at the moment and I have slightly wide feet so any tighter than that might not feel comfortable. So are really all the same narrower widths? I want to get a high cushioning shoe from Adidas in the first half of this year but I'm in doubt between the Ultraboost 22 and the Adidas Adistar . The UB might be more versatile but I like the idea about the Adistar. We need more comparisons between these Adidas's shoes on KZbin.

Does the boost on the heel come up high enough to cover the heel of your foot when you wear them? As you say the foot doesn’t sit on the boost as high as it looks from the outside of the shoe. It would be good if it covers the heel as it would protect it from impact as I have plantar facitis.

stupid question: how do you define "wide foot", etc.?
@thatfitfriend2 жыл бұрын
Not stupid at all! I use it to provide a simple means of standardizing sizing suggestions. For context, I’ve had my foot sized at a running shoe store to get my foot’s measurements, then I take those measurements and relate them to diff companies size charts. Different companies have different means of standardizing their shoe widths which then work with certain foot dimensions. So, I use those terms in reviews to create a suggestion as to what widths will work best. So in this context, if you had your foot measurements, then related them to the company’s sizing chat, and they also say that your foot aligns with a neutral/standard width, then you could likely assume that your size will feel somewhat similar to what I’m experiencing.
@dariosimonepalmiotti27392 жыл бұрын

I have considered between the Metacon 7s and Renew Retaliation TR 3s but could really use some proffesional advice from you. Otherwise keep up the amazing work!
@thatfitfriend2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thank you and stoked to have you! The Renew will definitely be a more comfortable ride for runs, but the quality of the midsole is sub-bar long-term. The Metcon 7 will be solid for lifting, but will fall short for running. Have you looked into the Nike Free Metcon 4? That's a model that walks a good middle ground and can support moderate loading!

Are these soles softer than the UB20? I heard that the 21 was very stiff and the 22 was made a bit softer but it looks the same. Some reviewers say the inside has a hole cut out to make it softer, but the does the LEP system make it feel stiff again? I like the softer cushion in the UB 20. I skipped the 21 because of that and when there is no more UB 20 left not sure what a good alternative would be?
@thatfitfriend2 жыл бұрын
IMO, I think they're a tad more cush, but still not comparable to the 20s. I'd say pass on the 22 and go for a marked-down 20 or wait for the 23 to see if they shift it back to a style/fit you enjoy! If you want a budget-friendly model that has more cushion, then the Reebok Floatride Energy 3 can be an awesome option. Good grip, solid performance, and for ~$100.

Very disappointed in these. I've had nearly every iteration of the Boost range since the first energy boost and loved the advancements. The UB20 is still my favourite. I didn't like the 21 as for the very first time the size I've had for every version didn't fit and they were really heavy and not very stable. I hoped the 22 would fix that - I love the idea of more Boost - but they're even worse. I've no idea what's going on in the 22? It's far too loose at the back, too tight at the toe and still far too heavy. I'll stick to finding the UB20 online when I need a replacement pair.
