Gravity Falls - Mountain Sound PMV MAP

Well, here it is. After 5 long years, the Gravity Falls Mountain Sound PMV MAP by Kinseis is finally out! But wait, why on this channel? Well, I came across this PMV while working on my GF PMV playlist. I fell in love with the concept and felt that it was wasn’t right that this PMV was never completed. So, I took matters into my own hands, and with a bit of editing, I’ve completed it…well sorta.
See, only just over half of the PMV was ever finished. And of that, 2 are lost. So, using the 15 available parts, and recreating 1 of the missing pieces from gifs, I’ve done my best to make a faithful substitute. I filled in the missing pieces with episode clips which I hope you’ll find to work well. I decided not to try and remake the missing pieces as there were artists who were gonna make them, and I did not want to disrespect that fact by recommissioning more (not that I could afford that rn, lmao). And besides, this is NOT my PMV MAP. I never was part of it. All I’ve done is create what I hope will be a good replacement to the one that never was made.
I wanna give a huge credit to Kinseis, as they’re the REAL creator of this PMV MAP. This is their project, not mine and while it was never finished, without them, it wouldn’t exist to begin with!

I wanna reiterate what I said in the description! This is NOT my project! I had NO involvement in this PMV MAP. All I did was take what was finished, and did my best to make something that could fulfill what the original might have been like. This was Kinseis project. The last official word on the PMV was 2018. Even its creator Kinseis has moved on to other things. She never got back to me when I asked about the project's status. It's a shame cause I think the real thing would have been something incredible.

i remember back then i was so excited about this and came back regularly to check if its was done for some time before i moved on from this show... then 7 years later i was just having a memory trip afternoon and searched for it again, im so sad it was never completed, but seeing all these amazing parts are truly a blessing. I miss this show, thank you for putting this video together!

Aww, no problem :) It was a really great project to edit and I'm glad it finally, in one way or another, it finished. Who knows, maybe one day the real thing could be finished, but till then, I hope this will give fans who've waited for so long a little way to finally have closure on this project. Oh, and I can't wait to see your and AveryNotAvery's PMV. It's looking great so far from the completed parts I've seen :P

@@lorettabes4553 I'd say TOH is more or less its own thing. Show creator Dana Terrace even downplayed theories saying the two shows were connected (yet also hid hints to it in Lost Legends, lmao). I think while TOH and shows like it are great successors and amazing shows on their own, there never can be another Gravity Falls. It's its own thing that just cannot be replaced.

There are a lot of incomplete Gravity Falls maps like this!! I’ve seen many people that have posted parts of the map they joined, whether their part has gone viral or not, and then when I click on the map call in the description or try to find the completed map it’s not there! It makes me sad. I kinda wanna re-host some of the maps to bring them back to life, since a lot of them have almost the entire thing completed, it’s just the person who was supposed to put it together disappeared. Oh well. Great job at editing this!!

You linked me to this on the original video, and I must say that you did an excellent job on it! Shame we don't have fanart for the missing parts, but what can you do, right? Unfortunate, but it happens. Probably more often than we would hope. I'm very glad that you did this! I was actually very taken by surprise to get a reply on that comment from that video because I'm actually running a Multi-Artist PMV of my own right now. I just hope that it doesn't end up like this one. A project with a lot of talent and great promise, but never getting truly finished. >.< But I suppose that we can hope that it'll be picked back up and finished in earnest one day! Who knows?

holy shit, i've literally been waiting all this time for this to come out. It's amazing tbh and it brought a tear to my eye, this cartoon hands down helped me through alot i was going through and i followed a lot of different project's i love that i was able to see this one come full circle.
