Dude congrats on the PR glad I made the cut in the video haha at minute 3:01 ! I was the short dude with the “si se puede singlet” . Keep chipping away . Philly was a super hilly course didn’t expect it to be .

Man I’m still replaying the race in my mind. Thanks for sharing another video! When you break 3 it’s gonna be that much sweeter

You are very outgoing and energetic. Great running and very entertaining video. I like the music background you chose. Will be running Philadelphia in 2024!

PS out of curiosity…. on the topic of breaking 3:00…… have you done it on treadmill?
@joshuaxrunsАй бұрын
Good luck in Philly! And thank you!

I have not tried that yet and may never. 26.2 on a treadmill sounds awful haha.

I love Philly, I was pacing my friends to a sub 3. The weather was amazing! Absolute dream day

This race was amazing! Hope your friend got the sub 3 and glad you had fun on the way with them!

new to marathon culture here. Quick question. How does it work for pacers? You just step in at some point?
@TimNguyen825Ай бұрын
@@LenkaSaratogai was an unofficial pacer for my friends. But a lot of races have official pacers who will be carrying a sign saying what time/pace they are going for. You can find them at the start of the race or in the middle and can just join the pack whenever. No need to sign up for it or anything
@LenkaSaratogaАй бұрын
@@TimNguyen825thank you for responding right away. Yes, god bless the pacers, I ran two marathons back to back, both in my home state New York State - Wineglass and Mohawk-Hudson river marathons. Amd I was amazed to see the same pacers on both marathons….. these guys are intrepid, they run every week, hundreds of marathons in their pacing carrier. I was just curious if you just stepped onto the course to pace your friend….. I thought may be I could do that for my husband at some point, step in fresh half-way and pull him along…. Wish me luck, going to Philadelphia in November, very exited!

great job man I think you came in just a few seconds ahead of me. I remember seeing you with your hand-held after getting the video recommend. I also just fell off around 19-20... it was pretty brutal and humbling experiencing that for the first time haha. Your VO2's are absolutely within reach for sub3 so looking forward to seeing you putting the final pieces of the puzzle together. Good luck training!

We were probably really close to each other! Sorry to hear you fell off. Definitely hard to finish a race once you realize you’re slipping. Good job on finishing! And thank you!!!

Too bad you didn't have time to recover from the illness. Your breathing seemed really good, and you really didn't seem too broken down at the finish either, so I think you were ready for the sub 3. You'll get it soon

Yea I felt about 90% on race day, but could tell I just didn’t have on race day. Still felt really good though and think I’m close to that sub 3. Thank you!!!

Paused at 0:39 …to ask.. Are you the same guy who attempted sub 3 a while back (and I watched the full video) but at the end said the stupidest words possible - something along the lines of , “… I wasn’t even trying to break sub 3, I was just having fun. It was all about the journey.?!’ Not the exact words but something to that effect. I was PISSED because I watched to learn how a faster (than me) runner runs and thinks. But no, to you “it was only about the journey.” I knew I’d never trust you (your videos/titles) and never watch you again. You replied back but by then, I didn’t even trust your response. Can’t trust anything after being led to watch a fake video… Are you that same guy?
@joshuaxruns Жыл бұрын
Same fake news guy making more fake news videos. Honestly, this isn’t even me running. I just steal other peoples videos for the subs.
