Not bragging. But I have every racing shoe on the market and these are by far the best. For me anyway and my running style.
@AndrewCho7303 сағат бұрын
It’s a fantastic shoe. Mine is at 135 miles and the outsole wore out a bit so midsole is exposed on some area. Still feels great tho!

Just got this shoe and am really loving it for uptempo workouts. It does feel kinda wild and unstable to just walk around on but I guess that’s to be expected? I’m not sure since I’ve never had a “race day shoe” before. Thanks for the review!

Loved the superblast 1 but definitely struggling to fall in love with the superblast 2 after about 50 miles. Running my first marathon in a couple of weeks, had hoped to do the race in the superblast 2 but I'm now toying with the idea of shifting to a softer, carbon-plated shoe. Any suggestions?
@joshuaxrunsКүн бұрын
I would say it took about 70 miles for me to start really enjoying the 2. And for a softer carbon plated racer, I would suggest the Nike Vaporfly or the new balance sc elite.

Interesting video. I am a fan of Tailwind as far as premium hydration goes and I like the Gu gels. I tried Creatine a long time ago and it was great for weight lifting but not running. For me, it added water weight and gave me the worst shin splints. A book or two I'd recommend is the Competitive Runner's Handbook and the Daniels running formula. I enjoy your content and am looking forward to some more race recaps.
@joshuaxruns3 күн бұрын
I will have to check out tailwind! GU always makes me sick unfortunately. And luckily I’ve never held water with creating, but know some people can feel bloated when taking it. And thank you for the book recommendations. I will have to check those out.

@@joshuaxruns one other supplement I'd recommend, especially if you do plant based, is an iron supplement. That is so critical to running. I don't take it every day (too much is not good). To be honest, I take a women's multivitamin with minerals as it contains a better mix of minerals runners need. I don't take it every day but a few times a week to cover my mineral needs.

Depends on what you are looking for I. A walking shoe. I think this shoe softens up at moderate paces but isn’t bad with walking either. But it is a slightly firmer midsole for walking. Hope that helps!

This will last longer than the Novablast. I have the Superblast 1 at 420 miles and the foam shows very little compression or wear. The rubber is the only thing on that shoe that has really worn down. The 2 shows no midsole breakdown at all after 120 miles and the runner shows minimal wear as well.

Thanks for the review. You’re the first review that has also experienced the firmness and break in of this shoe. Everyone else said they were soft out of the box. I’m about 50km into mine and can start to feel them softening up a bit. I do find they are very firm for the first 5km and soften up later in the run.
