Great video Junkman I used to run to the rack toy's everytime my grandparents took me grocery shopping with them at Shoprite. Usually I'd try to find a toy that's based on either Star Wars or comic book characters but I found Rambo rack toy's and I had to have it. It came with Rambo's headband green necklace from First Blood Part 2 and I think a knife and gun or compass and gun. Awesome video my friend I love your channel and videos cause you always have videos that bring back some of my best childhood memories. Have a great day Junkman and thank you.

Such a great story of how a couple guys selling rack toys ended up coming up with the famous Super Soaker, I had a couple when I was a kid. It was the best water gun to play with during those hot summer days.

I had a Super Soaker when I was a little kid and would bring the joy of a drive-by to my grandma, going through one end of their trailer and out the other, briefly hosing her down as I passed. :) Another time, shooting her through the box fan in the bay window while she was in the kitchen preparing supper. The fan would cause a mist and get ALL over her. :) My grandma was an amputee and couldn't get around very well without a walker. :)

well im only about 2 minutes in and i can actually give you some context of those "cheap japanese toys" You see in japan there are usually these little family run and operated sweet shops that seem Dagashi snacks with the shops being called dagashiya with ya being the preface for a store of what they sell but anyway and various dagashiya they sell little cheap candies and snacks for kids that they could afford with their pocket money with most being under 100 yen or 1.00 usd in equivalence but at these stores they also sell cheap lil toys very much like these rack toys that like how they are are usually unrelated but branded via stickers and the card it comes on with one of a variety of characters that are currently relevant to kids at the time be it superhero like that years ultraman, kamen rider or super sentai to various anime that may be popular at the time like dragon ball for boys or sailor moon for girls with their being enough stuff for boys and girls to sink their teeth into but again what it feels like these guys did at Larami just bought from the same makers of those toys in japan and had em do stuff that was relevant to AMERICAN boys and girls and to be sold in similar establishments where its just for 5 or less minutes of fun while on a long trip or somthing just because it looked fun at that moment but any way great vid so far and i just thought ide inject some of my japanaphile knowledge into this
