The brass pin supporting the second hole was a good tip! Thanks.

I have noticed many weird looks from co-workers while I was making backlash moves in predominantly DRO shops after my first eighteen years in a predominantly non-DRO shop. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't figure out something like the chalk line trick until I had been machining for a decade. Not sure how many hours were lost counting turns, or worse there were a few parts scrapped when the count was off. Your videos are great, filled with practical knowledge - the kind of stuff that rarely makes it into books. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!

I've been subbed to your channel for a long time. But I don't know why I haven't been getting notifications. Saw you on ARW yesterday and went to see what happened. I was still subbed but the bell wasn't rung... It is now, hope it stays this time. Totally enjoy watching your videos!

How about a mirror mounted on the wall where your alignment mark is now? Aligned so that the laser is reflected back to the little white box on the side of your mill. Put a mark on the box where the laser hits it. This creates a longer path for the light, which will increase precision, and having the mark where you can see it better should increase precision even more.

I find your videos very educational. Thank you for all the work. What happened to the rest of the “monkeys” they have not made any video’s for quite a while.
