Here is a hint that I do. When I have milk, I pour some into a plastic ice cube tray. Freeze. My tray has 1 TBSP sections. Then I pop them out, put them in a baggie in the freezer. Then when I don't have any milk, I have a few that I can remove from the freezer to add to mac/cheese, etc. I do this with lots of things, like tomato paste, pasta sauce, salsa, etc. Sometimes all you need is a small dab to make a difference in how something tastes.

Came home from a 13 hour shift at a steakhouse and saw your notification! After serving very expensive food and drinks to people all day, it's comforting to see someone being so much more thoughtful and purposeful with their money. You would not believe how many people order a $30, $40, $50+ meal and DON'T EVEN EAT IT. They don't even take the leftovers! For the $4.29 we charge people for a peach tea, you could make three days of food, Lisa!!

I have been binge watching your videos for days on end now! Love how cost effective you are (kindred spirits) and how kindly you talk to your viewers. I have learned so much by watching and will definitely be implementing some lessons you taught.

You've given me the inspiration to make what you call flatbread. Out here in Central California we call them tortillas. My mother in law made them fresh daily her whole adult life. I've always bought store bought packages but yours look GOOD and EASY. Thanks!

Your mother in law would die if you made these. Add some batter or lard, salt, and a touch baking powder… It makes them soft & yummy.

I usually call them tortillas too, but I've seen the same very basic recipe referred to as both depending on where in the world the recipe came from, so that's why it came out as both in the video. By the time I was done editing I was like, "why didn't you stick to one name??" 😅

This is the reality for many (too many) and is the reality for even more these days considering how much higher food and gas prices have gone…you also never know what’s gonna happen to you and even if you’re fortunate to have have to feed yourself like this, it’s good to know how to feed yourself like this, in case you ever have to

Love your channel! I remember way back when..... when times were tough my dad used to make grilled peanut butter sandwiches. So yummy, if you liked peanut butter.

Love your creativity on a budget. Would love to see a wheat free version of budget meals, for those of us who can’t tolerate wheat.

I love you so much. You come up with such a great variety of budget (CHEAP) meals that all could feed a single person or family very well. I'm always impressed with your creativity and warmth you pour into the food prep. I wish the whole world would watch your videos, especially those who are on a tight budget, but don't know how to stretch their dollars.

My doctor placed me on the Mediterranean diet so wheat flour only for me. I also have to have more vegetables than meat and fruit with every meal. I'm full. I don't buy any junk food or snacks except nuts

You did a very good job with this video. You’re actually a good cook and I love that you show everyone how to use the meal items you buy. It’s a good service that you’re doing because a lot of folks are really having to stretch things right now. Keep up the good work 🦋

Great change from dollar tree. I’m still a fan for dollar tree though. Great recipes ideas! I love making fresh homemade pasta. There really is no comparison once I got started.
