"TANGHALI" means noon or mid-day. Easier to say "Magandang HAPON" for "good afternoon." ... You can also say "KUMUSTA po?" means "how are you?" ... Great effort, Michael!

That is Rizal province. Mine is Tanay, Rizal. Next to Antipolo City. That area called cogeo is a market place where I buy food and necessities.

@@tryscience oh sorry, I should say older people, not elder, my bad. The Tagalogs, people from Manila and nearby provinces use that "po" or "ho", at the end of their sentences as an adress of respect but its funny that even they speak English, they still add that "po" , very polite. We Filipinos adress people who are older than us with either Kuya (older brother or men) ate for older sister/women, auntie/tita, uncle/tito, " po or ho" for non-relatives and strangers, etc. It's very impolite and disrespectful to just call someone older with his /her name.

That 100cc scooter was howling in protest climbing those hills. Very friendly people. You see that smog over Manilla. Love the walks through the neighborhoods. Too bad about the language barrier with the neighborhood girls.

Rizal is one of the provinces in CALABARZON an acronym. The provinces are Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon. The vast majority of people speak Tagalog.

Yay for the Frank & Fel gift🎁. //late comment from prior vlog: so impressive & cool that your friend who took over your Boracay house has a daughter at the American Naval Academy! Saw a video about a high level American fighter pilot who was born & at least partly raised in Philippines. A woman, highly decorated pilot. I’m mixing comment sections, sorry//I often use inexpensive water bottle buckles, ring goes around bottle neck & clamp can hang on a belt loop or off a crossbody bag.

P.s. big thanks to Gerald/Gerard? & his family for the tours of the Eastwood condo & the parents’ home outside the city. I enjoyed viewing the neighborhoods’ other homes & walkways & the whole area. Michael’s walk around their neighborhood to the basketball court was so much more interesting than a drone overview could be, though both is really great.

16:15 "palamig" is a collective term for cold sweet beverages (usually but not limited to sweetened fruit juices) meant to help cool you down in the tropical heat of our country. The root word is "lamig" meaning cold/cool including the "pa" (a contraction of "pampa") changes the meaning to "for cooling". When someone says "pampalamig" while offering something, it means whatever is being offered is supposed to help cool down (usually a fan or drink).

Cloud 9 is also nice in the sunset and in the evening because of the city lights of M.Manila . Antipolo is one of the pilgrimage capital .there's Alay Lakad every Semana Santa.

Good good good - there are thousands of places more like that - all unique just like in China - a lot of places are unique to each other - in Indonesia which is 7 times bigger than PI - the problem is - they are far from each other & locations or places not much developed - have been to Indonesia Kalimantan province - bigger than PI itself - but much undeveloped - my guess is would take a century for this place to cope up - anyway good luck to your vlogs my friend -
