I'm sure someone has already told you punch, but his basic attack does max health % dmg scaling with his rage. This means you get the most value out of attacking tanks so a strategy people have found is to find a flank route that allows you to right click dash onto a tank, immedietly kidnap them into your team, and then just obliterate them. This seems to be the most optimal way to play him. You can also animation cancel his 4 hit combo into another four hit combo by doing a right click in between them. Hope this helps!

@@m1stern00by i do think the hitbox needs some tweaking because it seems very inconsistent. I know a lot of people are asking for wolverine buffs, but I can very easily see him beeing overbuffed. I like the idea of a buffed/reworked regenerative healing factor because that's such a big part of his identity, but if he gets that along with better hitboxes and a dmg buff... he might get pretty overtuned

@@Devil-Shall-CryI definitely agree with you that he’s not as bad as he seems. But I don’t really think he’s very good still. From my understanding he’s best at dealing with tanks, his damage is based on max health if I’m not mistaken? But why go through all of the work when you can just play Hawkeye or Hela and 3 shot all of the tanks except for venom? And unlike a lot of the DPS he needs significantly more support from your teams healer’s then all others, he sort of needs to be ‘babysat’ in a way. But I agree with the general consensus that he could use a little something, he either needs to be a tank or have lifesteal in some way, as suggested in the video. That or his passive needs a significantly shorter base cooldown. But I personally think he’s one of the very few characters that needs a buff, the balance in Rivals is honestly very impressive.

If they just give Wolverine a passive health regen out of combat paired with a massive, and I mean MASSIVE buff to his damage reduction, then he could be a solid tanky duelist. Not great at burst damage, but the best at sustained damage overtime constantly chipping enemy health down at close range and preventing supports from healing their teammates.

I think Wolverine needs a slightly higher base speed than he currently has. There are too many dashes in the game that are way longer and faster than his short one, so it can be so hard to chase down a lot of characters. If you dont pin them with the leap, then good freaking luck chasing them while they just keep shooting and running away from your short claws.

Out of everything I have played Sadly Wolverine felt the worst even though hes my favorite. You need to have a support sit on you to survive anything and even with a healer you do ZERO damage to targes with low health because its % based. Its just very poorly designed.
