Thats right. More flow, higher volumetric efficiency-the point of max torque output. That's a must on these lower displacement blocks which are so much easier to handle when you put 500lb. Ft. At 3-4k. As opposed to a 6.2 GM putting 750hp 750lbs. Ft. Stock. A proper 2j is a monster on the highway any way you cut it.

Typically people fully swap the car from the GE to a GTE from an Aristo, Chaser, etc. All that Jerry and his buds did was swap the existing GE valve covers to the GTE valve covers so that it can look like a GTE. noriceformeplz I loved my is300 bro it was my first car in high school. I bought it at 156 thousand miles and it was the smoothest driving thing I’d ever been in, you couldn’t even feel the tranny shift gears. I gave that car hell and never really knew anything about 2j’s til it was gone now I wish I would have never sold it. I blew it up around 400k from not changing the oil for over 100k.

Bstimpy22 it’s just getting good and broke in. Take care of it, keep the oil changed and it’ll last forever. I even ran mine hot around 240k miles from my radiator being busted and it still had no effect on the performance.
