Early 80s lived on Lord St, Kiirra, on the dole, the whole town was on the dole!. The surf, the parties, one of my highlights of my life. Now 61 looking at retirement, def will spend some time on the Gild Coast!

Surfed epic Kirra in the early 90s.. for like 6 hours.. got 4 waves to myself that I wasn't dropped in on... And they were some of the best wave's of my life.. totally worth the 6 hour paddle

Last time I was in kirra it was flat...I just missed one of the best swells locals had seen in 15 yrs...boy I was bummed...but a nice 6ft swell hit a week later...Burleigh Heads was going off ...3 days straight before I flew back to the states ...perfect light offshore wind ...epic barrels...over and over on every wave...never forget it ....

Love Kirra. Had a Brian Austen board. Anyway I had it all to myself for an hour back in 81 on a 6'2" Kirra surfbord. Love Kirra.

Kirra is one of my favorite breaks to surf so I always try to film it when it’s on . I don’t get tubes as good as these guys though hahaha 🤣
