I was already going into the game thinking how bad can the Pats offense be this time around but man, it's like they looked great compared to the Jets just like last time with the Colts 😆 Both defenses were pretty solid for the most part but the roasting of said game is great because it really was just meh.

To be honest that is still the most reliable way to win a game, whether it’s at the NFL or HS level. Now sometimes it doesn’t work against a highly explosive offense or something, but more often than not if you win the battles of field position, time of possession, and turnovers, you’ll win the game

The mentality and purpose of individual drives has changed. Now the mentality, the expectation, the goal is score EVERY drive to win the game. It is no longer just enough to have improved field position. The game didn't change so much, just the priorities within it. Your post is true, but the gameplay is much more urgent, fastpaced to get as many drives in a game as you can. THAT is a big change.

The total combined single game record was 31 which has happened twice, first on 10/22/1933 when the Bears had 17 punts(single team record) and the Packers had 14, and again on that exact fucking same day by the Steelers and Bengals lmao. Because of course they were the same day. There were also 2 games with 29 punts in 1933 and the only other game with 29 was in 1940, a game of the then Chicago Cardinals vs Detroit Lions

Pain and sadness powers this channel... and I love it.😄 The game wasn't a surprise a combination of strong winds, and weak passing game. After last game with the Pats the plan has been to reign in Zach and rely on the running game. It's disappointing all the QB drafts that have failed. Despite the ending the Pats deserved to win they missed 2 field goals and had many drives just short of the red zone while Zach looked skittish he should have been intercepted by McCordy.

I’d be stunned if Zach Wilson isn’t a bust, because it’s not just his ability but his attitude that’s a problem. While the rest of that class have also been up and down, Wilson had had the fewest highs and he’s the only one whose work ethic seems to be in question. I can see Fields, Jones, Lawrence and Mills sticking in the league even if they end up as busts, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Zach Wilson out of the league within five years

You know one thing really lost this season is the amount of death at corner in the league. They made all these offensive changes that the defensive players are basically more Superior death wise to offense. The days of Az Hakeem type player dominating three four and five corners seem to be very gone. Receivers have got to step up their play so many drops
