@@saretaazzam Well you could say the same thing about tears of Gold, born without a heart, you don’t even know me, how it all works out, I know, don’t tell me I’m pretty, etc. They all show her vocals to the fullest. In fact I might even pick “blue” and even “crazy”. Desert Rose is the best showcase of her melisma.

Oh, the rabbit hole you have uncovered, my friend! Remember learning about Morissette? 😂 In her guide to Morocco, Faouzia pronounced her name as, "FOH-zee-uh." She has so many great songs (many of them original), you almost can't go wrong picking any of them. But personally, I think watching her most recent performance of her original song "RIP Love" on the Chinese show "The Singer" or "Desert Rose" on the same show is a great place to go next. Melisma for days. Her song, "Fur Elise" is excellent as is her duet with John Legend, "Minefields", and her songs "Tears of Gold (stripped)" and "How It All Works Out" are intense, and on and on and on. A truly gifted singer!

If you join the twitch (ThatSingerReactions) we do alot of Faouzia over there. Tbf we done atleast 2 faouzia songs every stream since we started the rabbit hole. I been requesting her left and right. Only 3 made it to YT.. Or 2? And we done at least 10 on the twitch (Probably more). We almost done all the stripped ones. And some One lens one mic one take. And we did desert rose on Singer2024. There are 12+ performances from the Singer 2024 competition in China. the same competition Dimash was in, in 2017. She also has several newer videos, and a duet with John Legend. Lots more to discover of her. She was a big splash in China.

If I’m not completely mistaken, it’s like F”oh”zia. If that helps any. She’s always fantastic. I think it’s the linguistic characteristics of Arabic that make her sound so fascinating. I don’t think most people can replicate some of the things she does, unless they happen to also speak Arabic. I could be wrong though.

That’s not vibrato, she’s doing a melismatic scale with her voice in addition to the vibrato. That’s the thing he was trying to copy. There’s some thing that the Arabs call it, it’s not coming to me right now. we know if she has a fast vibrato throughout her singing.
