Hi lovely...The entire video is on KZbin...Smokey asked Guy to include his own music in the show...which is an incredible honor as this was to be a special tribute to Smokey....it included Battle Scars as it was Veterans Day over there. His voice only just held out. He sings some real 'belters' lol

Guy to me is the awesome. We have the elders in Australia John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes whom I have loved for decades and still go to concerts to see. But it's great to hear another person that can actually sing (like WOW) and has a good message to sell. 🇦🇺🎼❤️

Guy Sebastian. The first winner of Australian Idol. I could tell from the first time I heard him that he would win. From memory the first song he sang was Stevie Wonder's Ribbon in the Sky. He had a fairly impressive Afro hairstyle going on at the time and they referred to him as the Bro with the Fro. The Temptations also covered Who's Loving You (David Ruffin), but Michael Jackson as a child blew them out of the water.

Agree. I understand the need for the interruptions, but there was no flow to this. With due respect you have to allow the performer to sing more than a few bars before each interruption. A pity that a great performance was spoiled. Given that Smokey Robinson was in the audience, we all knew this was going to be a great performance but it needed fewer breaks.
