I studied mandarin from a female Chinese lecturer. She taught us 2 songs from Teresa, this one and Tian Mimi. She was like our mother, very loving. We asked her to sing this song in a college concert. She agreed. We always heard and watched her practising. 3 days before the concert, she died in car accident on her way for rehearsal. They are ten days old now, will not be released from hospital until 11/2. I don't know how many times i return to this page to listen it again. I heard this song the first time three years ago in the background when i had a video chat with a lovely Chinese woman. I asked what this song is, it cought my heart right away. This two women, Teresa Teng and my now beloved JingJing are the reason to start to learn Mandarin.
