To add to the TV choice, I bought a cover off Amazon. My TV is 13 years old and has been on my patio for 5 years and it still works great. Just use your cover you've got and you'll be fine!!

Great idea! Do you know of a solution for mounting to the ceiling instead along the horizontal beam?

This is an incredible AV solution. I would have just bought a rolling tv stand and used Wi-Fi. I have a rolling stand for my shop and just move it to my patio to watch football games.

Awesome content I’m going to do this but *1 Use the barn door slide hardware with a double wheel top and bottom of a 3-4 inch pice of stock will give me the stability when sliding *2 double sound bars top and bottom *3 build a shadow box around the tv to really minimize glare *4 router for the entire rear yard Love your space I got a pool also, and an out rustic kitchen Family and friends just hang out here way more, the kids with their friends love it here Thanks

Thats a good idea, I thought of a sliding barndoor style but didnt think of the way to keep it from swinging too much. Good stuff.

"so believe it or not I knew how I wanted to mount the TV before I even built the covered patio" YEAH, AFTER WATCHING YOUR CHANNEL FOR A WHILE NOW, I 1000% BELIEVE THAT, LOL.

Another great video and I love the approach to adding a slight angle to the tv without the added expense...(what is the max weight/load and size of tv - would be great for outdoor movies ... sports ... etc."?) (followed your link below and found the info - it will support up to 100lbs and an 85" tv) I am assuming you had to thread the cables through center of the cable chain and if so, the cable way/drag chain will protect your cables and from the looks of things, you have the proper bend radius on your cables so it is unlikely you will ever need to replace the them..., unless there is a way that they can be pinched/crimped. This cable chain operates the same way as elevator cable chains and other devices that require moveable cables but it is great to see this tech used in home applications/other commercial applications. I am already thinking about adding this to my cottage deck when I do my addition ... love this! Great job and with the addition of some modular tables on your deck furniture you made..., this is a great outdoor living space.

Does Ergomart offer a shorter pole to mount the VESA to? The only beam option I have available in my covered patio area is 7ft off the ground.

Yes, you can give them your measurements and desired height of TV and they can custom make what you want

Doesn't the TV need to be weather rated to be outside, even under a roof?

Sorry, I won't be able to -join- attend your Superbowl party, unless you install a bigger TV. 😅

Lol I won't be out there either, it will probably snow that time of year here. Side note a Larger TV will be a future upgrade though.

What about wind issues - you must not have any.
@ThatTechTeacher4273 ай бұрын
I didn't include that in the video but the TV wedges against the house and column of the roof and it hasn't moved in the wind yet
