I love these two, and I was so surprised to find that a lot of people seemed to hate them. These two almost never leave my desk as fidget toys. Battleslash's roto can spin pretty well, but his arms have to be perfectly folded in and the cockpit tabbed to the arm piece. There's two tabs on the arms that actually will fit in to little notches and you know it's right because the rotor will spin pretty freely.

I like this toy too! I kind of like splaying out Battleslash's arms instead of folding them on Battletrap's back. It makes him look a little General Grevous-y, and also gives him at least *some* sort of weapon…

There’s a way to mistransform the arms in combined mode to flip the helicopter blades outwards so they can spin. 1. Splay the arm connections out behind the combined mode arms. 2. Rotate the bare arm so that the tab is facing the blade arm 3. Rotate the blade arm so the blade is facing away and the slot is facing away from the bare arm. 4. Keep the bare arm straight and bend the blade arm 90 degrees. 5. Tab the arms together in a V shape. This fixes the blade being pointed straight down and allows the blade to spin freely, though the shoulders will resemble Battleslash’s shoulders from robot mode. I also like to bend Roadtrap’s arms instead of keeping them straight and I don’t think the video mentioned using the rear helicopter blades as chakram style weapons.
@guy_gen6 ай бұрын
The 2 poking tabs on both road trap and battle slash were meant for titan masters to "ride" them (because the "calves" of all the headmasters have 2 vertical slots for tabs to plug into)... Idk why, but that's what all core class in the titans return line did...

Hasbro needs to do more toys like this. I, myself, have an awesome idea for Tigerhawk. Tigatron with a Tiger II tank mode (and a tiger mode) and Airazor with an F-22 Raptor alt mode (and the hawk/falcon mode). And make it so that they can conbine for a combined robot mode and combined beast mode (and possibly a combined vehicle mode)

7:12 instead of them facing back and down, you flip the hinges the other way and peg the arms in the reverse direction making for a nice overhead copter backback. It's a little tricky because there is less clearance but it works.
@NinAmuro576 ай бұрын
I used to own these two (and I really regret selling them...), and I never liked the stock configuration for the back. I folded the arms the other way so I could bend Battleslash's elbows first, then tab em together, and it gives Battletrap a propeller. It gets out of the way a lot better, and I digged how it looked more.
@Noveler006 ай бұрын
I like to reorient Battleslash's arm in the combiner form so that it looks like a rotor backpack. The rotor blad would be at an angle and over the combiner head. It isn't a graceful flight mode, but feel it looks better than a rotor blade sticking out from its ass.
