Same thing they did with Megatron give him a Knight armour robot mode as well for The Last Knight but in turn getting rid of the more technogically advanced inspired design and have him become Megatron again instead of staying Galvatron which would have been better and they should have given him the purple color scheme on the knight armour and the orange on his fusion canon but anyway the design we got in the actual film was cool just like knight Optimus

As someone with keen interest in the mechanical details of the Bay movies - my eyes are always darting around the details of the designs - my biggest gripe with this figure is the incorrect knees. The knee armor isn't actually attached to the knee and its two pieces that appear flush when Prime is standing straight but splits whenever he bends his legs, and they're attached just above and below the knee. There's actually a seam in the knee armor. I'm a fanatic for detail.

As much as I don't like how optimus acted in age of extinction and how barely he was in the last night was used as evil once and then all he got was the bumblebee I am your friend speech and was back to the good guy side I can't sit and not say that his design in both films was pretty cool. It was one of those moments where I liked how his character model looked in the later movies but was not a big fan of how his character was portrayed sets of moments. And it is good to see that even this figure is just as good and that's in spite of its price tag.
