As sad as it was that the scene was cut, this figure is kind of peak. I like that the Headmaster gimmick was carried over for this figure. He's got some neat features, although being slightly dated in the grand scheme of things due to lacking ankle and wrist rotations. I got the premium finish version and I display it along with my Autobots as a tribute to my little deranged butler freak. Love this guy, him and Sir Edmund and the other WW1/2 cybertronians were some of the only bayverse content I found to be worth a damn.

It’ll be nice if Studio Series redo Cogman in the Core Class assortment, considering he isn’t a full on Headmaster, we could get a better toy than the original 2017 and 2019 Studio Series releases.

I remember when l first watched the movie, looking at Kogman and Burtman jumping from car to car and every time they got to a new car I kept telling myself "Okay, THIS car is his body he will use as a headmaster". It never happened and it makes no fucking sense they never did that.

I got the Studio Series repaint of this guy. He's still cool. If Hasbro was going to redo Cogman in Studio Series, they probably might make him a core class figure that just turns into the car. Which would be cool.

Wait, Cogman's a headmaster?! Shows that i haven't seen the movie since like 2019. I always wondered why there was a tiny Cybertronian in the movie because most minicon type guys are weapons, cassettes, or headmasters and Cogman never did any of that. Glad i have an explanation for that now.

In 2017, I could not find the TLK version anywhere. When he was reissued in Studio Series, I snapped him up. Still had to get from a remote Walmart… No regrets. In fact, I bought 1:87 “railroad diorama figures”…male figures…I wanted to improvise Sir Edmund Burton, for the 2nd seat… Cogman at $20 was not bad. Nitro Zeus is now rare and very expensive…😂

I picked up this version when it was new and the Studio Series when it released, but my SS version had a lot of loose joints, so I swapped the best painted parts from both to kitbash a "perfect" Cogman.

I think he said "Bump Of Chicken Bumblebee". In case you don't know, Bump Of Chicken is a japanese band. Which had a short manga crossover with Transformers that included Bumblebee

Got the original as well and was really surprised how much better this was than any of the AOE deluxe figures. NGL actually found the crass English butler pretty hilarious in the movie. Totally had to get his toy. Think the only difference between this one and the SS is the care is actually painted and not just grey plastic. Could be wrong though. That tease of Magmatron though.

I got both the Regular and Studio Series releases of Cogman because they essentially have two different looks. The Studio Series release is a shiny silver colour which makes him look clean and younger. The cool wash on the Regular release makes him look older and more weathered. After all, once you get to be Cogman's age your knees will click too. 😜

Personality, I would recommend the Studio Series one over this version if you can find it for a decent price. It lacks the cool wash, but makes up for it by slathering the entire toy in both modes in a delicious silver paint, and then also the base plastic color is almost gunmetal silver, so the unpainted parts, like the thichs, look much nicer than this light milky color plastic they continue to be so fond of using, despite the fact is washes out every bit of sculpted detail

I got the ss cogman and it was fun. I also had a ss thundercracker so I swapped their heads, but I lost the sword to cogman and thundercracker's head. After that, I used Thundercracker as a playset for cogman. A few years ago, I gave thundercracker to a charity shop, but forgot about the instructions and I still have them. Then I gave ss cogman with head to a charity shop. Why did I type this all?
