There was a ton of animosity towards Cleetus in the pits and stands. I saw him pull into the pits after one of Eagles runs and some dude on a scooter pulled up yelling about “my boy put your boy in the dirt”(referencing burning his car down at the light). The import guys in the stands were going crazy when Eagle and Mullet lost. I will say he had crowds around the trailer when he was out and about that were mostly positive. Love him or hate him, he’s done a ton for bringing a new generation into the sport and helps bring crowds to these events.
