I thought the Hondas breaking all the time was pretty stupid as well. But that’s drag racing. I drag race muscle cars, But to say “just an 8” man, I’ve been racing the 1/4 since 97 and 8 seconds is really fast buddy. I don’t think you realize how fast that is doing a low 8-high 7 at 200mph is insane to me. I’ve only trapped 166 at a 8.4 in my ls new edge mustang built drag car. Boy them Hondas back half the track running 200mphs. If you’ve ever drag raced at this level you’d understand why cars break all the time. Only so much can go right and so much can go wrong. Also them Hondas probably bring in a lot of money to the event so I don’t think they’ll get rid of it. And they’d just bring back super street and mean street (the class Hondas had before).
@jok3yjesu3392 ай бұрын
Its because most of the xfwd guys are cheap fucks, you notice how most of them have cast blocks. There is billet blocks available for all of their engine combos(they need a billet block with the level they are at pushing those engines) yet they want to continue being cheap and not buy a billet block and most of them don't take their engine apart to inspect the health of it or anything. These cars are bottom 8 second and 7 second cars especially with a 4 clydiner you are pushing them really hard they need to be monitored very carefully
@naufalkusumah21922 ай бұрын
I think that class is very competitive with very strict rules, they basically run their cars each pass over the limit hoping (more like gambling) the engine stays together until the finish line. They would bring 2-3 spare engines and just rebuild them after every pass, it's quite insane actually

Snot Rocket is the most impressive car at this event!!! 6.0s and street legal, that Brett drives 1000 miles , in drag and drive events . Unbelievable!!! Baddest car on the property!!! And stock block ford coyote!!!

XFWD should be ashamed of them selfs with how terrible they are at keeping an engine together. For fuck sakes the rotary guys are going faster n doing better job at keeping their car in one piece… personally the red flag is how happy they are they have a 3 spare blocks for a weekend event

@15:28 Fred, you’re doing a great job doing coverage, but man, you should have a spotter with you if you’re at the top end. At that event with crazy speeds like 220+mph I think it would be a priority to have one. Be safe my dude 🤙🏼

4 cylinders shouldn't be allowed to compete from now on unless they got a billet block or some shit. The amount of 4 cylinders that blew up is insane.

Honestly yes the guy cleetus raced didnt break any rules and I don't think he did it on purpose to burn him down. I do think what happened is a product of cleetus being to nice and jumping in there expecting the other person to jump in right after perfectly. That being said i also think if you flicker the bulb once the timer should start. But dems the rules I guess. Honestly dont think cleetus was complaining about it much hes just sad he didn't get a good shot at it with leroys new body.

Rudest Puerto rican girl in history puts all those bad vibes out after Eagle shuts down, then Karma struck at the line next round. She must have been born in NY or something, bc I've never seen anyone from PR be anything but the nicest person they can be. Hope their team has a come-to-jesus sit down with her.
