Have to love all these couch experts. It's the first time Cleetus has run 275 tyres on that car. He swapped from a big tyre to 275 and had about 6 passes on 275's. He also mentioned in his last video that everyone told him his slow, and his reply was, "I'm having a heap of fun." The man can wheel.

@32:44,, ERIN ELLINGTON - unless I'm mistaken this channel has a FIRST!! As long as I've been following Erin, Shawn and Phantom (Danny), the Murder Nova team I have NEVER seen or heard Erin do a "camera spot",, she has only answered a very few questions when posed from Shawn, and that was a few years back when he asked her about her Blazer when the guys were redoing it. If anyone sees this do you know if she's ever done a spot for Shawn before?? She done good didn't she,, cool and collected,, like a pro.

Funny you say that, because somebody from the team had mentioned to me, how the heck did you convince Erin to do a talking role with you. And interestingly enough, I don't know what I did. I think I said to her, you know, I love that Shawn is always down to talk to me, but I wanna hear from Mrs Murder Nova, and she was totally cool with doing it. They are a great team and were always very welcoming to me.

@26:18,, all the attention was on our buddy Cleetus BUT,, what kinda numbers did that diesel hotrod run? The et was maybe not so good BUT the mile an hour looked to be INSANE!! The voice we could hear,, "HOLY FU*K!!!" so it must have been spectacular to see in person. We couldn't make out the numbers at the bill boards.

Kye Kelly to the front was hoping McFarland could pull off qualifying along with murder nova but both really had no passes to set up for this insane field they where saying a 70 gets you in but damn low 60s was needed for sure ✅

The entire south had terrible weather, most racers couldn’t test. Cleetus will never be on top, He plays with cars for a living. The other racers only live , breathe and sleep, racing!! Huge difference!! Eagle could be fast, but won’t happen!! It’s a toy, nothing more.

Cleeter's problem is he needs to focus more on getting himself/Eagle race ready but can't when he has so many other toys and distractions to keep content flowing. Time will tell how this pans out i suppose.

He got unlucky with weather but its to be expected tbh, even if he had more time testing like he planned. Its not jsut a brand new car with less than 20 total passes, and a fraction of that with his tuner on site... but whole new level for him and his entire team. They all have a lot to learn and you can only do things so fast between testing sessions as engine needs rebuilt/refresh etc etc. I'm quite sure they will get it all figured out and be competetive though... Eagle has all the toys and Cleets a good driver.
