I was in Lowe's last week trying to buy $400. worth of stuff. I had a 20% discount code. My code, and temporary shopping pass were both declined. I told the clerk I'm putting the stuff back. The guy next in line behind me stepped up and offered to pay for all my stuff. I was blown away by the generosity but the whole point of me being there was to get the 20% discount. I remember when money was really tough..like seriously rice every day...I was busking on the street and someone asked for $5 for a coffee. I gave it to him..but not without tears later on.
