I know people like ruff, professionals would call it a personality disorder, I don't have a name for it. But the thing about such people is that they are the center of their own universe and his reality is not everyones reality. He strongly believes in what he is saying as reality and nothing else, he is being himself and he is being sincere. Its why he can hear the sarcasm but he can't process it because it doesn't tick on his radar. Also, appreciate the fact that he was being sincere ...
