The 01EDC Tuning Fork slider looks great and has a softer ping than most tuning fork sliders..

I recently picked one of these up with a plain ti shell and was a bit disappointed with the “reliability” of the pinging. I really wanted a nice loud ring but if I don’t hold it just right and slide it carefully I often just get a muted “thunk,” which is such a letdown compared with the beautiful ringing when it pings as intended. Will keep practicing with it for now, but definitely not as great for mindless fidgeting as I had hoped.

@@reedfergus2835 yeah I find that all of the tuning fork sliders need a light touch or they don’t “ping”.

got the gao studio cashew stainless steel tuning fork slider on geeone. It has a nice solid loud ping when you push it just right to the L & R. Didn't take long to figure out. If you get it, make sure the balls on in the tracks on both sides. One side of mine they were in the bag not installed.

I avoid 01EDC now, too many quality issues. Besides their mechanical sliders.
