An autoimmune disease is a condition in which the immune system attacks its own tissues. It is typically characterized by low regulatory T-cells and high Th17 and Th2 cells. T-reg cells prevent autoimmune diseases by supporting an appropriate immune response.
There are natural ways to support your immune system so that it operates at an optimal level. Poor gut health and gut inflammation can block the function of vitamin D3. Without enough vitamin D, T-reg cells do not work properly.
The majority of the population is vitamin D-resistant. To support the immune system, you need 8,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily, but even more to overcome resistance.
Poor gut health, inflammation, and low vitamin D are a perfect storm for developing an autoimmune condition.
B. infantis and L. reuteri are vital for your immune system, but many people don’t have them because these probiotics are very sensitive to antibiotics. These two important microbes help prevent autoimmune diseases, greatly affect T-reg cells, and suppress inflammatory immune cells.
L. reuteri helps increase oxytocin, one of the most potent anti-stress hormones. High cortisol levels mean high stress, which suppresses the immune system. The best way to consume l. reuteri is to cultivate it in a dairy product.
If you’re low in selenium, you will have higher amounts of inflammatory immune cells. Selenium helps lower Th17, Th2 cells, and auto-antibodies involved in autoimmune disorders.
Prolonged fasting can improve your immune system by increasing T-reg cells and creating new stem cells.

This channel really helped me. I was really active and one day I woke up and had debilitating chronic fatigue. Went to 4 ER's and 2 doc's and no one could figure out what was wrong with me. I honestly thought I was dying. My kids and I started researching online and came across this channel, thank God. It wasn't an instant fix but overtime since increasing my vitamin d3 along with other supplements, I've been on the road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Berg from the bottom of my heart. @@samzee7747 ZERO. But the "doctor" tried to convince me to to get a covid shot while I was there with unknown autoimmune reactions trying to find out the cause. Even veterinarians and non-medical people like me know you don't give shots while the immune system is already taxed. My vet wouldn't give my dog vaccinations after finding out she had an autoimmune issue. They definitely are trying to kill people and are medically inept, uneducated, malicious and negligent if not outright weaponizing the medical practices and system. I told her no I don't want an experimental mrnashot while i'm having autoimmune reactions with no known cause. She then snarkily asked me to get the mmr and whooping cough booster and said "or are you against those too?" I got a different doctor after that who listens to me and doesn't try to make me an experimental guinea pig for her own pocketbook. These people shouldn't be "doctors"

Thank you Doctor, I must contribute a case that benefit from your video. I am a Chinese medicine doctor, and a patient came to for knee pain. After consult I learnt she took vitamin D for two years without taking vitamin K2. So the knee pain can come from too much calcium in the blood. I gave her acupuncture and ask her take vitamin K2. After one week she came to that the knee pain was all gone. She was taking vitamin d under instructions of her GP. That shows not many people have this knowledge even medical practitioners. Thank you so much for your contribution of the knowledges, please keep going. We are blessed to have you.

They were like deer looking into the headlights. Eventually I learned from Dr. Berg to add K2, I even tried explaining to the cardiologist why it was important....he was more concerned about NOT taking it because it could interfere with the blood thinners. Seems to me you eventually don't need blood thinners if you just keep clogging up the arteries....he didn't find the humor in that. Needless to say, I have continued to take the k2 and the arteries although they haven't cleared...they haven't gotten any worse.

Managing autoimmune issues has been such a challenge, and finding the right probiotic was a game-changer for me. Not all strains of bifidobacterium infantis are the same. The same is true with lactobacillus reuteri. According to Dr William Davis in his book " super gut" on page 145, the B infantis must be ATCC 15697, M-63, and ECV 001. The L reuteri has to be DSM 17938, ATCC PTA 6475, and NCIMB 30242. If you have a copy of his book you can see a further explanation of this important detail on page 143.

Dr Berg, years ago I was feeling awful. No energy, aching all over, short of breath, chest pains etc. I went to my doctor and the NP was in that day. Good thing too as she was really keen. She tested my D level and it was 16! She immediately recommended I take at least 20,000 IU’s of D3 daily. I began to feel better like my old active self again. Went back for a recheck months later and my level was above 60. Fast forward years later and was having severe stomach pain & weird rashes on my wrists and ankles. Was tested for ulcers, acid reflux and nothing. Finally one day it was so bad I scheduled an emergency appointment and the NP was in that day and had my blood drawn and I was in full blown celiac attack. Listening to this video has me wondering if the 2 incidents are related. I’ve also heard that celiacs disease is more common among rh negative blood types which I am. Would love your thoughts on this.

Yes, do what this Dr. Berg recommends. Buy a yoghurt maker and watch his video on how to make your own yoghurt. Super Gut, the book by Dr. William Davis is a very good read for all things autoimmune related and these yoghurts and how to make are sourced from this book. I couldn't put it down and read the whole thing in under 24hrs, it was so inspiring to read. I used to get an undiagnosable rash on various parts of my body, hydrogen peroxide as strong as you can get it sorted it out for me as well as eating more fruits & vegetables, salads, juices. Your body is begging for healing when it is covered in rashes and I believe Super Gut will help your immune system calm down and the rashes go away. Vit D also helped the last rash go away, without the hydrogen peroxide. But as I am allergic to Candida, I believe my rashes are fungi based, so the acidity of HP works against fungi. If your rash isn't a fungi rash, the HP might aggravate it and make it worse. I would experiment on a small area of rash to see if it gets better or worse with 3% or even 6% HP.

This makes sense! I have low levels of vitamin D even when taking supplements! Which was perplexing to me because I was a sunshine freak through my life--how did I have low levels? Loved getting out in the sun and sunbathing! I have read however that high levels of vitamin D doesn’t seem to help that much! The blood levels may indicate everything is fine--it’s just in the blood and not being absorbed! I was recently diagnosed with cancer soooo this subject is important to me ! Thanks for the information!

I’m excited to try these things. I know he’s right about selenium lowering antibodies. I have hashimotos and when I first did blood work my antibodies were 950. I started to take selenium here and there (I wasn’t consistent) but just taking selenium my antibodies went down to 200.

I saved my own life by fasting. Had autoimmune skin disorder called by MDs multiple names ("atopic derrmatitis") never called it autoimmune. Oral/topical/inected steroids made a dent but never fixed it. Horrific unrelenting itching was going to kill me due to lack of sleep. 3 days lemonade/veg juice fast (green tea in AM) fixed it. If it ever comes back fasting fixes it again. I do D3/K2 too after seeing vids by Dr. Berg and others. My case was triggered by foods: gluten dairy eggs meat I ration small amounts of eggs and meat back in now have abandoned gluten and dairy 100%.

Oh my god, I am also suffering from severe eczema ( atopic dermatitis) since last 2-3 months. First it was on my face( eyelids 😢) and now it came on the whole body. I developed wounds on hand and legs by itching. I feel so hopeless. I live in Germany and they don't take like to go into the root cause of the problem

With my last batch I had a half cup of whey & small bit of yogurt left in the container I used it in my chicken/broccoli/olive oil/garlic penne pasta. Turned out fine. Using the thick yogurty consistency would’ve been interesting/good also. Someday I’m going to use it in onion dip.
