Great video. I'm not a fan of divergences as they don't happen often and aren't 100% reliable when they do happen, but your point of looking for the opposite (convergence) is something not a lot of people think about and "gurus" fail to mention.

Hi, I've known about OBV for a long time. You are spot on in explaining it. I just watched your take on Williams %R. This indicator is a classic. It reminds us that the price needs to be making new highs as it goes higher, and this indicator shows this perfectly. I'd also like to see your take on Williams Acc. / Dist., if you haven't already reviewed this. This is another great indicator from Larry Williams.

Very helpful video. I am going to add this to my future charts to see if I can use it for more evidence and get more consistent with my day trades. So far looking at some back testing it seems to be helpful when looking to trade 5m cycles on the MNQ. I have the 2700tk and 8100tk charts for short and mid term. I have the TD cycle indicator, MOM, OBV (new addition), VWAP, Heiken Ashi, and using a market profile TPO chart. Seems to provide some solid reversal set ups. The TPO charts seems to give some clues that a reversal is likely while looking at VWAP standard deviations. Still need to test it for another month. Thank you for all the great content.

Great content as usual from a true volume master but the question here what time frame we should rely on for getting better confirmation.. I see you using 1D time frame and does it works on 6E1!

Volume indicators can be used on intraday charts, but they work better on 1D charts. Yes, it will work on 6E

Great question. It can still be helpful, but not as much in Forex because there is no central exchange through which one can see ALL volume.

In this video it's set to 5. You may want to try other settings as well though.

You can't adjust the actual OBV, even though you can adjust a moving average of the OBV.

The name of the indicators is On Balance Volume, or "OBV." It's natively found in the indicator list of most charting platforms.
