If you have myopia, your eye is not broken. Your eye has adjusted to the environment you have put your eye into. If you have been reading close up or watching screens close up for hours on end for many years, your eye has adapted to that by lengthening causing myopia. So, if you want to reduce myopia you need to reverse the cause of your myopia. You need to unwind the distance you look at things and reduce the strength of your glasses gradually. Also going outside for at least 2 hours a day to stare at faraway objects will cause your eye to reduce in length which is the reduction of your myopia.

Perhaps the biggest lie, is that myopia, can not be prevented when at 20/50. Julie, I totally support your efforts! It is also true, that the person must make a major effort - for his own recovery. Without that personal commitment, recovery can not exist.

The proof is in the hundreds and hundreds of testimonials and case reviews from real people on here on KZbin and weekly to people on our email list. If that isn't satisfactory, then that's okay! Hi John, you may appear to be right at first glance but actually you are not. What you do not know is what prescription she is wearing, why it is so where it was to begin with, or why she still chooses to wear the one she has on. It also does not negate the hundreds of people who have been not only able to get off the escalator of ever-increasing lens prescriptions, but also successfully reverse what most docs think is only a one way street. I didn't hear her say anything about "getting rid of glasses". She said that most people can likely reverse a big **part** of their myopia. She might have had -6.00 diopters, and maybe now she is wearing -3.00 glasses. That would be an absolutely immense progress. And yes, she has a job, she is an OD. She has to pay bills and buy food, like everyone else. I would rather an OD would sell me a program that reduces my lens dependence, instead of "prescribing" me stronger and stronger minus glasses for 600 dollars each. Please listen again - otherwise just keep watching your favorite LASIK channel.

Hi Julie, That is truly an incredibly difficult subject. I have argued that we be given a choice when we can still read the 20/50 line (self measured, -0.75 Diopters). Then, I highly motivated pilot, could slowly get his refraction to change from -0.75 D, to +0.25 Diopters. The problem is that this is long term plus lens wearing, always during the school years.
